Looking at more images of him now, yeah, he does look wrinkled and old.

This is probably just me, but he kinda looks like Alfie Allen in this image.

That still image looks great but I'll wait until I see the movie before passing judgement. I'm thinking of how fake the younger Michael Douglas looked in AntMan 2.

Yeah, he's aged pretty well, but there's still a VERY clear difference between the de-aged pic and current SLJ.

Yeah, the de-aging in that image looks fantastic, hope it looks as good in motion throughout the film, looking good in a still image is one thing, whether they can maintain that quality for an entire movie is something else entirely.

I think it will probably look better. Young Michael Douglas's scenes were flashback type scenes. And that was an Antman film.

Captain Marvel is set in the 90s and Fury is director of Shield and probably has a more substantial part than young Hank in Antman. And Marvel seems to be pushing Captain Marvel hard to be their next big thing and a kick off point for Phase 4 and beyond. I suspect it's more important to them than Antman 2 so they were probably a bit more demanding. At least, thats my hope.

He really has aged remarkably well, particularly when clean shaven, if I didn't already know he was almost seventy I wouldn't even come close to guessing his real age, I'd probably guess he was in his fifties if I didn't know better.
Wow, I had no idea he was anywhere near that old. :p

That's true, Douglas was only on screen a few moments. But it was so bad, I thought a behind the back shot would have been a better choice. But youre right here, theyll put more effort/money into this.

It's pretty hot here too....but it looks like a thunderstorm is moving in. Maybe that will drop the temp.

No chance here, rain/storms might hit tomorrow but the temps and the high humid will drop later tomorrow

We had dark clouds and thunder kept rumbling, but it never rained around me.

Temps in the mid 90's here but tomorrow it will drop to the 70's :D and pretty much the rest of the week be the same. I'm glad, getting tired of changing my clothes 2 to 3 times each day

We don't get the 70's 'til the weekend here, but it will be mighty welcome indeed. I don't even care about the rain it brings, lol. Today was miserable.

Samuel L. Jackson looks straight out of Jurassic Park in that picture. Hope he looks that good in live action.

I thought Michael Douglas looked kinda bad in Ant-Man, but I thought Robert Downey Jr. looked good in Civil War.

Same here. With all these high temps I wonder if any hurricanes will go all the way up here to Massachusetts.

I agree with this assessment.

Are the rules of 10 infractions limit and disciplinary bans still applicable?

Violent Teletubbies and a font that belongs to Kellog's Frosties. Just the kind of game that motivates violent behavior.
