fwiw, i have bought/traded/gifted with some members on here before. I distinctly remember going to Gamestop and finding Vartha the Black Widow w/ Cap's shield pop that he really wanted :/
I miss Vartha. I'd love to know what he thought about Ragnarok and Infinity Wars :(

i'm building a box of stuff to donate and i have a pile of cds i don't need. i can't even remember how to rip cds haha. off to google i go.

i just have too much... stuff. and i'm trying to downsize cuz the possibility of me getting to buy a house is getting closer every day and some stuff can just be donations and some stuff i can make a little money on. that $50 i've made this week selling off odds and ends can go towards my house savings or towards paying some bills and lowering my debt ration. win-win
 
I remember now when Windows Media Player on Windows XP Professional offered the ability to rip audio CDs, I think Vista had that ability as well.
 
you still can. i'd never used it for Windows 10 before but it seems simple enough so far

She was penalized a game by the chair umpire. Apparently she received some coaching and got a warning. Serena called out the umpire (called him a thief I think) and that resulted in a lost game.

She has a bit of a temper. But "coaching" should not be a foul. Tennis is a sport. Sports generally allow coaching. The players should be allowed to receive coaching during a match. I love tennis, but sometimes it's a bit too full of itself and pretentious. Much like golf.

I've made a couple of trades many years ago with people here, not long after I joined. A feedback system would be very useful long term once a transaction history has been built up. But to start off, even just dealing with other Hype members that you've regularly come across, who have been here for years and are likely to continue to be here for years is a good first stage safeguard against getting scammed and a reasonable measure of reputation and risk IMO. This would be great too if the products board was expanded and got popular again.

Yeah we all miss Vartha. :( He would have been up for this too I bet, and I'm sure he would have loved those 2 films.

I wouldn't mind if they changed the rules for the future. But as far as this game goes, the rules are already set and they need to be followed and officials respected (even if wrong).

I agree. And at the very least, she shouldn't have been throwing a tantrum. I sympathize with her. It's a big moment and the final and itd be easy to get angry if she feels the umpire cheated her somehow. But this isnt baseball where its unofficially accepted that a player or coach will get into a shouting match with an umpire. In baseball it's an unofficial part of the show. Even funny and exciting.

But this is tennis. Players shouldn't be having a full blown argument with the umpire on the court during a match. Shouldn't be calling an umpire a thief and a cheat. It makes her look unprofessional and melodramatic. And she says this has happened to her multiple times at the US Open. Well if that's true she should be expecting it and know how to handle it without losing control of her emotions in front of the fans.

Plus, let's be real, when in the history of sports has yelling at an umpire ever reversed their decisions? Umpires wont change their minds because you raise your voice at them. They make the call, and they stand by it. Stubborn as mules.
