I cant even bother with Facebook. Too much unverrified BS political articles and conspiracy theories getting passed back and forth and liked by way too many idiots.

I just scroll past them with a sigh of disgust. Commenting isn't worth the bother.

2016 HYPE Awards: Funniest poster....

C. Lee.

I actually meant to vote C. Lee for his pizza rolls pizza flavored comment.. .and accidentally clicked tacit... i even had to go back and edit the post lol

The Trumpeteer might be the name of a political villain opposite of Lex Luthor, he will lead an organization like Hydra.
His motto: "MAKE THE WORLD GREAT AGAIN" and "OUR OPPONENTS SUCK"

You both don't know true horror until you see your 59-year-old mother flirting with some old dude on Bookface. #NoThankYou :barf:

Everyone knows of my hatred for all things FOX-Men (except DP of course) but all be damned if that Logan trailer isn't insanely awesome! If the reviews are good I may have to break my vow to not pay for a FOX-Men movie.

The only thing that kills me is the timeline stuff. Why is Caliban in this? Why doesn't Logan have Canadian dog tags? Etc.

Wasn't Weapon X an American program in the films? I think there's even a line about it where Stryker mistakenly calls Logan an American which pisses the latter off.

Indeed, and I quote:
Stryker: "Do it for your country"
Logan (before driving away): "I'm Canadian"

And yet, the base they put the adamantium into him at, is in Canada.

Fox should've paid good money to work out a deal with marvel studios so they could've had the crazy Hulk kids and old ass Hawkeye in it.

In other news, I'm in heaven right now. The job bought us all BBQ for lunch. Just finished off a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and slaw. So damn good.

Though Weapon X originated with the Super Soldier Program in WW2, it largely is tied to the Cold War era. In our reality, it was quite common during the heights of the Cold War (1960s, 1970s) for Canada and the USA to cooperate on many defence projects (due to fears that Soviet airplanes would fly over the Arctic circle to attack America from the north), which often involved putting joint defence facilities on Canadian soil. NORAD is a good example. I think the X-men/Alpha Flight/Hulk writers had that in mind when they developed the Weapon X plot device.

I had also written Fox off...I still need to get on the Vaughn/Singer X-Men trilogy...but Deadpool was really good. So they can make good superhero movies when they want to.

I had forgotten just how damn good the album Ixnay on the Hombre by the Offspring is. There is a reason it was one of my fave albums back in the day.
