Heavenly Creatures was a good film, though.

I think it has a strong cast (Mark Wahlberg wouldn't have been my first choice for the dad, but we'll see), and the book was really good, so I'm looking forward to it.

Someone on this dutch message board who attended the Cinema Expo yesterday says that the teaser trailer for Lovely Bones was shown there and in IMAX nonetheless.

It's been described as a beautiful trailer and it's even gotten him/her to buy the book!Apparently the trailer is supposed to make it's debut in two weeks time.

Edit - I made a slightly inaccurate translation. The message board member read it on someone else's Twitter page.

the Lovely Bones poster is most likely a promotional poster that they use for conventions. IE the Iron Man 2 poster that was at the Sho-west.

Yeah, I thought the movie is coming out this Winter. I THINK this could be an international poster so maybe the date is different.

Ugh ET. When will they learn.

The footage itself looks spectacular. Peter Jackson has done it once again.

Didn't think it was going to be this visually reliant on CGI but its used in such a way that I think it won't detract from the overall premise.

Yeah, and they have this upbeat instrumental playing in the background when promoting a movie about a girl who is raped and murdered.

Talk about inappropriate. Can't they for once be a little more, how can I say considerate in regards to the material they are featuring.

footage was cool but i need more. ET trailers are the worse, i remember they had a sneek at Return of the Kings trailer and their voice overs killed all the excitement i had for it.

The images of Susie's heaven look amazing just from those clips, and it looks like it's staying faithful to the book. Can't wait to see the trailer.
