The Lucius Fox thread

Fox doesn't have to be portrayed as Batman's armorer. He could simply run the day to day operations of Wayne Enterprises like in the comics.

As I said, then it's probably a blink and you missed it appearance.

Though, I believe they'd think it to be better to avoid this character entirely, given that people, being unfamiliar with him from the comics, would expect him to be Batman's armorer, hence baffled by the fact that he isn't in this universe. Nolan's trilogy was for many either first or most impactful meeting with Batman and his mythos and is very fresh in their memories. Hell, I've seen people refer to the new batwing and batmobile as "the bat" and "tumbler", even though they were depicted in earlier Batman movies by their comic book names.

If they wanna go older, Ben Vereen.

If they wanna go younger, Andre Braugher.

I wish James Earl Jones was about 10-15 years younger. I want a Lion King reunion in the DCEU.

Luscious Foxx should be played by an unknown extra. Because that's all the screentime you need to devote to him. I have a trilogy of enjoying Q Fox, but let Bruce be his own inventor now.

Idris Elba would be wasted as Fox. Jon Stewart is the DC role he should play.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fox again, but in a much smaller role than in the Nolan films. Then again, the only reason why he had as large a role as he did was because he was played by Morgan Freeman.

That's pretty much what I wanted to say. I don't want a Denzel or a Glover playing him since that would mean he'd have to be given major screen time again. I want him as kind of auxiliary character in the background that appears for a couple of scenes.

Dennis Haysbert- Ideal age, not TOO famous, good actor.
