Interesting...

- Here are some more highlights from The Rock's #RockChat Q&A on Twitter this afternoon:

* He recently had a meeting with the CEO of Warner Bros. about working with DC Comics in 2014.

* His biggest "ah ha" moment in 2013 was when he tore his quad & adductor from his pelvis at WrestleMania 29. Rock said that was God's way of saying, "slow down son."

* His biggest 2014 goals are to diversify their 7 Bucks Entertainment company and make an even bigger impact in entertainment.

I wonder what this could be?

The Rock Reveals His Original Plans For WrestleMania XXX, When Might He Return?

The Rock did another #RockTalk chat on Twitter this afternoon. A fan asked him if he would be returning for WrestleMania XXX. Rock says he, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar had plans for a Rock vs. Brock match in 2014 but that won't be happening. Rock added that there's a chance he will return for WrestleMania 31.

Rock tweeted:

"Between Vince, Brock & myself our Wrestlemania 30 plan was ROCK vs BROCK. No plans now for 30 but possibly WM 31. #RockTalk"

Since i am going to fantasy book and Randy needs to face a star at Mania

Would add a big time match for whomever is not in the main event. I don't ever see it happening but I would seriously mark out for that.

I'd just love to see AJ Styles on a Mania card at all, just give him and Dolph 12 minutes in a US or IC title match and I'd be happy.

As much as I would love to see AJ Styles in a WWE ring, I'm genuinely curious how much of the general audience would know who he is... for instance, if he was a surprise entrant in the Rumble, what kind of reaction can you realistically expect? I think you could certainly do a series of vignettes to introduce him and that would help, I just worry that casual fans won't have a clue who AJ is and that would diminish his value.

But yeah, giving him a match with Dolph would be fun... there's actually a bunch of guys who'd be a good fit & Orton would be one of them, so I don't mind that fantasy booking at all!

I'm guessing a new or existing character using his likeness,Perhaps doing voice over work for DC Animated Films and games

If the Rock is Lobo, does that make Lobo the first minority led superhero film since he's half black?

As far as people forgetting about Orton, I know I personally don't mean to disrespect him, but the match ideas that involve him as champion aren't exciting in the least bit. I look at most of his suggested opponents and I would rather see someone else face them. The one Orton match I'd like to see is Orton vs Lesnar, and I don't think we'll get it.

Rock will be playing...

:oldrazz:

There are no other options though outside of Sting and we all know that's probably not going to happen.

So who do you suggest face Taker if it's not going to be Lesnar?

If not John Cena then Randy Orton would be my pick, he loses the title at the Rumble but says he can still prove he is the face of the WWE by ending the streak, they can then play the angle up that Taker is getting older and that Orton has learned a lot since they faced off nearly 10 years ago.

It's probably true that a lot of WWE fans wont know who AJ is so making him a surprise entrant in the Rumble probably wouldn't be the route to go, the vignette idea is best but in the end I doubt WWE will sign him.

Orton vs. Taker would be interesting. It would give him a much more credible opponent than facing Kane.

I still prefer Cena or Sheamus facing Taker but yeah I'd be cool with Orton,My problem with Orton for WM XXX is that I just don't want him as champion or in the title hunt at this time,I like him and all but I simply prefer him in the mid card for this WM.

I'd like Brock vs Orton for Summerslam

I'd be okay with this. My problem with Orton is I don't want him working with Punk, Cena, or Bryan when they could working together in some fashion Also, Orton vs Batista bores me but I wouldn't hate it if it's non-title.

Just to take a detour for a minute, I caught up on Impact last night, not a very good show but I hope this Storm/Gunner thing leads to Storm being the guy to go after Magnus down the line.

The big question I have is what on Earth are they doing with Bully Ray? The menacing music coming out of nowhere during his promos is so goofy.

One thing I did like was the little video packages charting Magnus rise to the title, they were well done and contained his best speaking work to date.

I wish Abyss and Eric Young would go away, Bad Influence deserves much better than working this moronic angle.

It was interesting that show contained 3 in-ring promos from women, Brooke easily being the best of them, all 3 were marginally better than Jeff Hardy.

I'm glad to officially hear Rock isn't done yet. Would love to see the rematch with Brock and hopefully him working with Bryan, Orton, and Helmsley before he hangs it up for good.

I'd like to see Rock/Orton, so many parallels and they have a history that not only goes back to their youth, but goes back a couple generations. They also had a segment back in the summer of 2004 that ended with Bischoff kicking Rock out of the building after verbally tearing Orton a new one.

I'm not knocking Sheamus as a worker but I just don't see WWE booking him vs Taker as it's too small for what the streak match has become.
They kind of have to. Undertaker hasn't worked with anybody new at WM since Edge at 24. If anybody not named Cena is going to end The Streak, Sheamus is the best choice of the fresh roster. He's over, is freaking huge, a good worker, and a former world champion. If he defeated The Undertaker, a "new guy" would get the rub and it would be believable.

"That was my sister's!"
