An old video of Brock Lesnar I forgot I had. I re-uploaded it on YouTube. He should've gotten with her instead of Sable instead.

So next week he challenges his WM 30 opponent?,I don't get what you meant
For months, they said Brock Lesnar.

Last week, they said Dave Batista.

This week, they said Sheamus.

Today, they said Daniel Bryan.

Next week, they will say somebody else.

I consider Sheamus to be a massive failed experiment. I don't feel he is/was ready to be main event material prior to the injury

Sheamus was doing just fine then he lost his feud with The Big Show...and he did a whole bunch of nothing before getting injured. That's not his fault.

He's still a better world champion than Cena.
.

I guess in three weeks we will all have a better idea of how this is all going to play out.

MAYBE...

Bryan and the Wyatt Family systematically work their way through the Rumble (maybe the combined might of two or more members of the group is what it takes to get rid of Reigns). Bryan, Wyatt, and Batista are the last three in the ring, and Bryan and Wyatt manage to take out Batista together. Wyatt then turns to his "disciple" Daniel Bryan and expects him to eliminate himself.

"NO! NO! NO!"

Bryan attacks Wyatt and wins the Rumble. The next night, Bryan just says he did what he had to do to make sure he was going to have his rightful place at WM. The Wyatts come out and they brawl. Bryan vs Wyatt at EC. Bryan wins.

Bryan goes on to main event WM against Orton while Cena takes on Undertaker and we get a Beast vs Animal match in Lesnar vs Batista.

I like this idea & I'll add to it... maybe you could have Bryan put his Wrestlemania title shot on the line at EC (kinda like they did with Punk & Cena this year on Raw). I wouldn't even be opposed to it being inside the chamber too - that way you can basically make it a hardcore match AND keep Harper & Rowan away from the action.

This video makes me want to see AJ Styles face off with Taker at WrestleMania. Awesome mesh of themes.

If I was booking it, I'd have Styles in a program against CM Punk. Have The Authority bring in Styles as a "good for business" answer to Punk, present him as one of the few men on the planet who can match Punk move for move, in order to take down one of Triple H's most persistent nemeses.

- For what it's worth, it's said that Triple H vs. CM Punk for WrestleMania XXX is a lock. Plans are to do another "Summer of Punk" style program, possibly leading to Punk vs. Batista at SummerSlam.

- The feeling is that when Roman Reigns turns babyface and splits from The Shield, likely in February, that he will be replaced with a new member in the group. Mason Ryan's name has been discussed.

So will the Son in Law bury CM Punk?

-I look forward to more pipe bombs

-So only Reigns will be going solo with the other two remaining heels with a new member?..WTF!?

I don't know who Reigns can face at Mania as a new face and so I think Shield should remain as a team then break up at Mania then be Ambrose vs Reigns vs Rollins in a triple threat at Extreme Rules for the US title

So Mason Ryan and Dave Batista could be in the same ring at the same time?

Let Barrett join The Shield and do a shoot on WWE's misuse of him. That's 10 times better than Mason Ryan.

That sounds a thousand times better, but I don't think crowds will take Barrett seriously enough at this point. I'd argue they'd look at the Shield as a joke with Barrett.

Depending on who the incumbent member is, and if the storyline leads to the complete dissolution of The Shield, then yes..... that would definitely be the route to take concerning Reigns going solo.

That's too bad. He's big enough to play the heavy and is decent on the mic.

Batista vs. Punk at Summerslam......by that time we will know if Batista's Superhero film is a hit or bomb.

Barrett's been so underutilized in the last year that it's going to take more than being a replacement guy on a group who's leading towards a breakup for him to gain popularity.

You know what could have improved his popularity? A feud which Sheamus that they hinted at early last year but for some reason they never went through on.

I will be stunned if Marvel Studios and WWE don't come up with an agreement right around Money in the Bank in July where the WWE promotes Guardians of the Galaxy. The WWE is the perfect opportunity for Marvel to promote the film through all of the WWE's mediums and all of their TV Shows as well as Money in the Bank. The deal could also include the WWE interviewing Dave Batista on the red carpet along with his co-stars and people at Marvel like James Gunn and Kevin Feige and showing clips of the movie on WWE programming.

Nah. For one thing, Trish had a rule of never dating a wrestler, so he'd be wasting his time. Secondly, for all you young guys out there, never pass up an opportunity to get with an older woman. It will blow your frickin' mind. The fact that Brock and Rena have been together for 7 years, which is wrestling years is more like 17, that's saying something.

Plus, Trish married her high school sweetheart (who got booed at the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony).

Yeah, but if Trish had a Melinaesque approach to life, that long-distance relationship with a mere mortal would not have lasted, and she might be a notch on Batista's backseat. I think the rule she had set for herself (she spoke of it on an episode of Off The Record) really helped her have a normal life outside of wrestling.

For the love of God NOOOO! Don't do it Warner Brothers!

THE ROCK IS...GREEN LANTERN?
By Mike Johnson on 2014-01-03 11:06:12

The hot rumor right now within comic book and movie websites is that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's discussions with Warner Bro. to play a DC Comic book character in 2014 would be to play John Stewart, a member of the Green Lantern Corps and the Justice League of America.

In the DC Comics world, The Green Lantern Corps are an intergalactic peace keeping force who are armed with rings empowered by their willpower that can create anything their mind desires to assist in the fight against evil.

The Stewart character came to prominence in the early 1970s when he was chosen as a back-up Lantern to the most famous incarnation of the character, Hal Jordan. The character was been a regular part of the GL mythos and storylines since the 1980s and was included in the popular animated Justice League series on Cartoon Network.

There's been no confirmation from Johnson or Warner Bros. as to whether the Green Lantern rumor is correct and it should be noted that at different points over recent years, Johnson was also attached to play the evil Black Adam in a Shazam! film as well as intergalactic anti-hero bounty hunter Lobo in different DC Comic film adaptions that landed in development hell.

The Stewart rumor is most interesting since the forthcoming "Superman vs. Batman" film will be adding Batman, Wonder Woman and perhaps other members of the Justice League to DC's new shared cinematic universe, which was launched with last summer's "Man of Steel" film.

Warner Bros. did release a "Green Lantern" film with Ryan Reynolds playing the aforementioned Hal Jordan character, but the film failed to resonate with audiences and could likely be ignored as DC's cinematic universe unfolds.

Warner's "shared universe" strategy with all the DC characters appearing together follows on the heels of Marvel Studios building their own shared universe, which has led to an incredibly successful series of films.

The addition of Johnson to the DC films will be a massive boon to the DC films given his reputation as a "franchise fixer" that helped the Fast & Furious and G.I. Joe revitalize themselves.

One of the criticisms of the "Man of Steel" was that it lacked the fun and wonder of the Marvel films and Johnson obviously has the chops to bring some humor to the DC world, if the character goes in that direction and Johnson's involvement would bring any film to a much grander scale among the general public.

So, we'll have to see whether Johnson ends up reciting the Green Lantern oath next year or not or if he's in discussions for another character. It should be noted there have been a number of rumors regarding other actors (including Denzel Washington and Bryan Cranston) for the Lex Luthor role in the film that have gone nowhere thus far, so nothing in the Johnson report should be seen as set in stone - but since it's becoming such a prominently mentioned story, we are making mention of the possibility.

I'd be fine with Rock as Hal Jordan/John Stewart or Kyle Renner But still prefer him as Lobo or Black Adam

The Rock as JS would guarantee that a reboot would be greenlit.

Rock as Green Lantern would be kind of a waste of the physicality he could bring to a superhero franchise.

The Rock is probably going to end up being Lobo or Black Adam anyways.

Ambrose seems to be channeling Brad Dourif tonight.

The Wrestling Thread cannot be conquered, because the Wrestling Threat cannot be divided!

Sgae, I very much believe it will stay the same. Let's take a look at Triple H's hand picked stars, Sheamus, and Roman Reigns. Both are very much in the mould Vince loves. The Game was also a supporter of Drew McIntyre whose body time is similar to Trips himself, he's just not as good as the other two.

I like the idea of bringing back the Light Heavyweight championship. They should bring it back and treat as a world title. Would definitely benefit guys like Ziggler, Cody, Bryan, Kofi, Woods, Kidd, etc. Just my 2 cents

Yeah, the same type of stars. But do you think the booking will improve under his watch?

That's the one big hole in Foley's reasoning. It can argued that Bryan is somebody, or that we at least think he's somebody, but it doesnt matter unless the WWE confirms it. He spent the fall being the Authority's whipping boy, and what few victories he had were pulled out from under him before he knew it.

By comparison, Foley got screwed over by the corporation lots of times in late 98/early 99. The difference is Foley got the upper hand once in a while and had the bad guys at a disadvantage. Foley got to have his "yo adrien" moments and victory laps.

Same as I was thinking. Bryan has yet to have his moment in the sun. No long lasting victory to enjoy.

Well boo to Mason Ryan joining the Shield if that's true.

I wonder if Punk/Batista at Summerslam means both will be winning their Wrestlemania matches.

Taker vs Bryan would be a good match but I don't know. As stated before, Bryan has yet to get a victory or payoff after everything he's been through. Facing Taker will give him a loss, no matter how going toe to toe with Taker will make him look. In the end, it won't be his hand getting raised.

But it's great that Taker requested him. He picks his opponents nowadays, so that's good praise for Bryan.
