people may hate in now but if they just take the time to think about it, it will pay off in the long run. all the retcon did was free up spidey from what was constraining him creatively. comics are just soap operas, im not a fan of marriages in comics cause it just limits the characters.

The ret con was the ''pay off''. And Joe stated this status quo is what Spider-Man is all about. So what's being constrained then?

Problem is they're writing a hollow spidey now, with an alternate history and a world totally created and shaped by the devil and Pete's & MJ's deal.

No one wanted a world shaped my the devil nor did they want a reboot, regressing the flagship marvel character here.

So, the question still is, WHAT WILL MARVEL BLAME NOW???

The haters, of course... you are too stupid to comprehend that JOE has thrown Spidey down the crapper in order to "save" him... Because SpideysCreator HAS to be wrong if he chose to marry Pete and MJ... Only Joe could've saved Spidey form this marriage... Instead of a simple divorce, the almighty Joe Quesada... (Whose name could be translated to José Cheesy) chose to use the most creative route... A Faustian pact, but the Devil was feeling more generous than a Gameshow host... All that was missing from the deal was a Brand New Car!! But we got close, since we got a BRAND NEW DAY!!!

By Mephisto's logic dissolving their marriage was his F-you to God. So if their marriage was recognized by God. Then "Till death do us part" is recognized by God. Morlun already destroyed the marriage in the second act of The Other. More reason this retcon is poop.
