I guess you're mad? From what I've seen, probably around 3 hours worth of the show, her acting wasn't very good. This wasn't helped by the dialogue which most of the time was also pretty poor.

If MEW somehow ended up as MJ, she'd look like Aunt May's daughter. Marisa Tomei could easily play her mother. It would show how she inherited her good looks.

Yeah, she'd be great. I think she's kinda what MJ needs to be next time we're introduced to the character. If Michelle isn't MJ & they plan on sticking to the comics (which I still hope is the case when it comes to a character as important as MJ, she's no Ned Leeds), to distinguish MJ from Raimi's "Girl Next-door" & since "Ned" is filling Ultimate MJ's spot-- she'll be closer to her classic self. Total knockout, aspiring model & life of the party. Classic MJ is essentially a completely different character with the exception of the daddy issues

It always baffles me when people say an actor/actress can't portray a more upbeat or nicer character because the character they're known for is a *****e/villain.

But yes, as far as I'm concerned Petsch is the best suggestion I've seen. Her interviews on YouTube are actually what made me see that she can very much channel that MJ vibe if necessary.

I just didn't want her due to her age and fear she'd start looking older than Tom if she was cast as the series went on.

Other than that one thing, I'm on board with her -- especially with her interviews. She's really likable.

My vote goes to Zoey Deutch. She's only two years older than Tom and frankly, I think she looks and can play the part of Mary Jane. I don't think she's all that well known but, from what I've seen, she definitely has range to her. She was in this movie called "Everybody Wants Some" and she had a great flirtatious/witty-playful aura to her. I think she definitely emits that characteristic of Mary Jane. Which in all honesty, I think is most important when tackling a role like Mary Jane. I get that people want "eye-candy" because that's what Mary Jane has always been described as. (Someone out of Peter's league etc etc)

Which brings me to that note, I think she could pull off the "MJ look" as well. I'll post the pictures that won me over to this suggestion but, it was while I was watching the movie "Why Him?" last night with my brother did I come to this realization. I think, given the Homecoming universe, she'd be a stellar choice.

I think Zoey Deutch looks a bit too old for Tom. She already is looking like a woman in her 20s. She's the daughter of Lea Thompson btw.
