Yeah, Betty's age is kinda confusing to me, I don't think he hooked up with her until College. I don't think Liz/and/or Betty's inclusion will exclude MJ.

I think Betty's mom worked for JJJ, and when she became or died or whatever, she dropped out of high school and got a job with JJJ. I could be completely wrong but I think this was the backstory I saw back when I used to read Untold Tales of Spider-Man.

In the Spectacular Spider-Man show and the Ultimate comics, they just made her a older Bugle employee.

In any case, something was brought to my attention on tumblr when I finally checked my messages.

Madison Davenport dyed her hair red 8 weeks ago, and I believe it's still red. I figured since speculation started over Ariel b/c of her red hair, speculation can start on Madison.

Right now Madison is filming From Dusk Till Dawn, but if MJ has a small part in the movie, it won't really conflict with her filming.

With barely any significance at all. For me, it's all the other details we keep getting from the Trades; "Small role in the first movie but important later on" (wat?) then more recently we got "lead role" from Hollywood Reporter. Also, none of the Trades have used the name 'Michelle' since from when the news first broke. They always use 'Myterious role', 'unspecified role' or 'yet-to-be-revealed'. Nope, refuse to believe Marvel would randomly make someone so insignificant in the source material a priority over established important characters. They've never done it with their other properties. I'm not going to believe it until we get a press release.

The Nolan Batman movies or IM3 don't count because the characters actually used their reported names as aliases in the movies, until their real identities were revealed as a twist. It's only a typical situation if Zendaya called herself Michelle in the movie and then later revealed herself to be MJ, which we know wont happen

It does happen, mostly with casting calls. And to begin with the whole Michele thing was only stated by one source as like an offhand comment. No one else ever brought up that name or named her character.
