I think WB should reboot THE MAsK and set it in the DCCU
it should be more of a horror story; truer to the comics.
I want them to play it off as a cautionary tale.
Here's my fan poster for it:

I honestly always prefered The Mask set in its oun universe, but i wouldn't realy mind if it was a kind of one-shot inside the DC Cinematic Multiverse.

Just re-release the '94 version and edit Ben Affleck's face in there somewhere.

I want it to be set in the DCCU, so that Joker can get the mask.

I think the silence speaks for itself.

I prefer The Mask to remain by himself. Not everything needs to be connected.

Um, as I far as I know The Mask is at Dark Horse where he should stay. I'd rather seem him team up with Hellboy than be put in the DCCU. Random idea.

Yeah, The IP (Intellectual Property rights) belong to Dark Horse Comics, it has no connection to WB / DC.

Whenever Dark Horse decides to launch it's own cinematic universe, The Mask could be set in a universe where other Dark Horse characters exist (with their own movies)

Imagine The Mask existing along-with Hellboy

The problem there is that a Dark Horse universe really doesn't exist.

Um, crossover comics of characters from different companies do NOT automatically make their respective universes one for all eternity. That's not the way that works in real life.

I would LOVE to see the MCU Avengers go up against Legendary's Godzilla, but just because they fought each other once in the comics doesn't mean it will ever happen on screen. Or should, for that matter.

I'm up for a Mask reboot. The DCEU thing makes no sense though, but I think you've figured that out already. ;)

The Mask should be standalone. Although I'd rather have him take place in the MCU to connect him to Thor/Loki. lol

The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.

never change for anyone, HarryO

I for one think the Mask attached to Joker would be horrifying.

Works that way for stars too. Bright blue giant stars last for millions of years. Yellow stars last for billions of years. Dim red dwarf stars last for trillions of years.
