Yeah, I know the feeling. I've had major disappointments similar to those too. I recall a few years back, Diamond Distribution had an exclusive 12' AT-AT Driver action figure. I REALLY wanted it, badly. The thing was due to the popularity of the SW figures at the time (mid 1990s) these particular figures were being allocated to 2-3 figures per comic store. I put my faith into the store I went to & had it "reserved". When they the shipment arrived, I hustled over to the store, only to find out 1 was allocated for the store, one damn figure!! The store owner who was also a collector promptly snatched it up for himself, & I was left in the cold. Later though, I ended up acquiring it through secondary channels or market, but it left me super pissed.
