Rumor has it he'll be in the new Nancy story in Sin City 2.

Mickey was the highlight of the last film, can't wait to see what type of magic he pulls off in the new one

How could he appear in the new Nancy story if he got the chair in the first movie?

He'll appear with Dwight, but not with Nancy.

None of the stories are in any sort of chronological order. I thought I read a rumor that said he was going to be in Nancy's story

The Nancy story could take place before The Hard Goodbye.

I think this was Mickey Rourke's best performance ever. I never once thought it was Mickey Rourke in costume. I always thought it was Mort.

Give the man an oscar for that role.

Well, if they're focusing on 'A Dame To Kill For' like stated by Miller and Rodriguez, Marv will be in that one, he's in it quite a lot, helping Dwight out.

Maybe. But wouldn't Nancy's Revenge involve eliminating the Rourke's? They are still alive and kicking during the Hard Goodbye. Also, Nancy still seems to be the sweet girl she has always been when Marv comes to visit her place. It's like she doesn't even know her true love, Hartigan, is dead.

I don't think Marv and Nancy will have any more than limited interaction, and probably none. I think all of Nancy's story will happen *after* all the stories we've seen so far.

Check out Sin-Chron-City special feature on the DVD, it gives a nice timeline of when things happen. The Hard Goodbye is the last story, and Nancy doesn't even know of Hartigan's death yet, so Marv and Nancy aren't going to be ganging up to kick anyone's ass, unless Marv comes back from the dead... I guess considering how tough he is, that isn't a totall impossibility. :word:

Living in Oblivion
Hollywood's bad boy emeritus talks about his ties to John Gotti, blowing his career, and the ***** who split his lip

HUMBLE FISH Mickey Rourke is older and, after years of therapy, wiser
The first paragraph of any story written about Mickey Rourke since 1990 can be summarized in three words: He ****ed up. The actor, whose raw, magnetic performances in films like Rumble Fish, Barfly, Diner, and Angel Heart once drew comparisons to Brando, knows this better than anyone. He ****ed up. And he'll let you know it twenty times in the course of an hour. In those dark years, Rourke tormented directors and producers and led the kind of private life that would make your average Serbian gangster feel like a pansy. There were reports of drug abuse and domestic violence, and the constant company of strippers and lowlives—but mostly there were his ties to a criminal underworld most Hollywood actors only experience on camera. Rourke knew John Gotti well enough to attend his murder trial in 1992, but his only statement about their friendship until now has been "No comment." In an interview with Radar, Rourke, 50, finally opens up about the mob ties, tells us how he met his Chihuahua soul mate, and pinpoints the moment he realized he was completely insane.

MICK FLICK SUGGESTION: check out "Angel Heart" w/ MR and Robert Deniro

Kathy I know what you mean when it comes to showing the love and admiration towards Mickey....I have been doing this for a very long time now and am hoping to continue what I do.
Angel Heart is a great suggestion and one of my fave movies as well.
Looking forward to everything coming his way, especially Sin City 2....
