The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot Beta Begins February 25

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, Ubisoft's upcoming free-to-play hack-n-slash Windows PC game, will enter open beta February 25, the company announced today.


Beta participants will be choose from one of four of the game’s playable characters, the Knight, the Mage, the Archer, or the Runaway (a mid-range attacker who wields a massive axe). Interested parties can register for the open beta on the game’s official website.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot revolves around two things: looting and defense. Players invade other player-created castles in order to ransack their loot and accumulate wealth. Similarly, since other players will be gunning for your castle, players need to design a layout and series of traps to keep their castle safe while on loot-seeking excursions.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was first announced during Ubisoft’s E3 2013 press conference. It’s expected to remain in beta, first open then closed, through the summer.

Mighty Quest for Epic Loot : Free Hero Weekend Announced

Ubisoft has announced the first-ever Free Hero Weekend for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot that commences today and runs through April 22nd. During the event, players can access three special heroes and will have access to several packs at 50% off the usual price.

During this special occasion, several limited time, half off packs have been unlocked that offer permanent access to the Heroes. Additionally, Heroes and Pets have been bundled to ensure that looters never get lonely and more importantly, never forget to pick up any of their precious looted Gold and Life Force.

Mighty Quest for Epic Loot : Play Every Hero for Free Over the Next Four Weekends

Ubisoft has announced that interested fans can play every hero in The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot for free over a series of four weekends, starting today. Each weekend will see another character available to all for no cost and will feature a special event to unlock in-game rewards.

The Archer will be the first hero to be featured, and he is available for all players from July 18, 12pm EST to July 22, 11.59pm EST. If the community completes the challenge of successfully completing 100,001 attacks with the Archer, all participants will unlock the Archer’s Darkness Costume. The Knight’s turn to show off his skills will come next, followed by the Mage and finally the Runaway will close the draft with her mighty musical axe.
Players looking to permanently sign new draft picks heroes can also earn a discount of over 60% of in-game currency price of the heroes by leveling them up during their free weekends. The higher they level the character, the larger the discount amount.

Mighty Quest for Epic Loot gets execution date

The decision has been made and the order passed down from on high: Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is to be executed on October 25th. The game’s upcoming demise is part of Ubisoft cleaning house as it eliminates several online titles, including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms and Might and Magic Duels of The Champions.
“Please be aware that in anticipation of this we will be closing the in-game and web shops,” Ubisoft posted. “Players have 60 days, beginning today, to spend all their remaining Blings before the servers and forums are shut down. Our vibrant and devoted community of players made developing the game a real pleasure and it is to you that all of us here at Ubisoft want to extend our most sincere and heartfelt thanks for all your enthusiasm and support in making the Mighty Quest for Epic Loot such a great experience.”
Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was released in February 2015 and is a tongue-in-cheek title that allowed players to build their own dungeons while heading off to plunder the other created dungeons in the realm. It also has a surprisingly good soundtrack.
