If someone had told me at the start of the season that, with just over 20 games left, that the Atlanta Braves would be in danger of missing the playoffs, I would have laughed in their face.
Right now, they are behind both the D-backs and the Padres and only 1/2 game ahead of the Mets for the wildcard spots.
@Ghostrider87 evidently saw something in the Mets that I didn't. They've got the talent, but looked like a mess. Now? Not so much and I don't think he'd find it surprising if the Mets overtook the Braves.
Also, WRT the Dodgers, it looks like Bobby Miller and Walker Buehler \ might be starting to find their grove on the mound. IF that happens, look the EF out. A pitching lineup with a healthy Glasnow and Yamamoto with Gavin Stone, Jack Flaherty, and a resurgent Buehler and Miller would be as strong as a 5/6 deep rotation as you'll see; and that's without Clayton Kershaw. It's rare to see this kind of depth. If they get healthy, the Dodgers are gonna be a problem. Hell, they're a problem now. Tthink about next year......Ohtani will be back on the mound......
