I wonder if Couture would come back to the UFC if Fedor signs with them. His mission of late is hunting Fedor, after all. However, Dana has said some pretty nasty sh1t about Randy since he left. I vote they put him in the cage with Fedor AND Randy and just let them do whatever they want to him.

Even after all the **** Dana has said about Randy, I think that if they were somehow able to sign Fedor he'd return. Just so that he can get his final fight out of the way and officially retire.

I think it's funny how Dana, since losing out in the original Emelianenko sweepstakes, has done nothing but call Fedor a punk and overrated. Yet he was willing to give him the largest contract a UFC fighter has ever received. Strange that one would through millions at an overrated chump like that.

Also, Couture has no excuses if they can somehow get Fedor. Though refusing to face Nogueira for the title was quite ***** of him. It wasn't UFC's fault they couldn't get Fedor. Couture should've honored his contract and at least faced Nogueira.

Yeah, if anything, Couture should have fought someone from Pride, in Nogueira. But yeah, I can't wait until we Couture/Fedor, cause it will end up happening somewhere.

Fedor hasn't fought a real challenger in I don't know how long, now. Most of his fights have been throw-aways with guys that had no chance. Randy's been taking on some pretty tough competition. Might give him the edge against Fedor. Besides, Randy is like the Batman of MMA; with enough prep time he can beat anyone.

Right, but Fedor's camp is just as good when it comes to preparing a gameplan for a fight.

Still, I'd give the edge to Randy (especially if it's in the cage), due to the reason you pointed out: competition. Or rather, Fedor's lack there-of the past few years.
He's still my favorite fighter, and I still think he's the top HW, but he hasn't fought anyone worth a **** since Cro Cop. It's about time he started taking on bigger challenges.

Yeah, the guy is my favorite fighter, too, but he's not exactly fighting guys that will keep him challenged and sharp.

Well, he wants a new contract. Hopefully, the UFC works with him and makes this fight happen.

So if Randy comes back to the UFC and fights Fedor inside a steel cage at a UFC PPV, would that be considered a Title Unification Match? Or does the winner face Nogueira in a real unification match?

Randy is the UFC Heavyweight Champion, as he has yet to be stripped of the title, Fedor is the Pride FC Champion and Nogueira is the Interim Heavyweight Champion.

I know this will probably never happen and I hope it does not, because as great as Silva is, Jones Jr. would kill him in the ring boxing. Don't get me wrong Silva is a great striker and has great hands and defense.

But RY Jr. grew up as a boxer, and is easily one of the greatest of all time pound for pound. I hope this does not happen.

Please tell me someone saw the Cung Le vs Frank Shamrock fight?!?

I'm not the top MMA aficionado, but I've seen thousands of fights, and this had to be one of the best battles I have ever seen.

Both fighters showed impressive skill, Cung Lee is a true artist, and both of them had a ton of heart.

I was happy to see EliteXC had something this good, and that it was still free.
I bet people that wasted 40+ dollars on that De La Hoya snooze fest would of gladly done so for this fight instead.

Yeah, from what I heard, Le and Shamrock went at it. Too bad it had to end like it did.

To be quite honest i thought the fight was nothing special,Shamrock didnt do much except for the late furry in the 3 round...and Le was landing some kicks here and there...as a huge K-1 and Muay Thai fan i cant enjoy a fight when a guy doesnt have an idea how to check/block a kick except taking it on the arm over and over again...on the other hand Le's boxing is sub-par even for MMA standards.

I dont know,i dont wanna sound like nit-picker but i really hoped for something more,especially from Frank.

No big surprise there, atleast his actually younger then Kimbo!
