The Mod Appreciation Thread

I'm not gay, but I AM fabulous.

It starts with being "fabulous." The very fact you chose that word to describe yourself (versus something more masculine i.e. "Awesome", or "cool") speaks volumes. The next stage in your 'evolution' is to drop the "ulous" part. LOL

I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE.

Of this, I am totally aware.

As Yoda would say, "There is another".

I'm slightly disappointed (AKA, apathetic,) that you don't fully understand my humor. And we all know who you're talking about. I never knew you to take the opposite of the road less traveled. :o

DOG LIPS is an atrocious staff member - like me - but - like me - he has an awesome personality. Forever bold. :hrt:

No. There is another. Beyond Marx and You.

And your humor is so sexual.

It needs a little antibiotic.

Or we do...

No it's not. You just have a naughty brain. :nono: I, on the other hand, have a mind pure and wholesome, brimming with nothing but sunshine and happycakes.

Don't worry...antibiotics will be made more affordable under Obamacare. I guess you'll have to wait for that.

Two of my favorite mods are individuals in my Hype Class of 2004 whom I've been blessed to count as online friends for almost 10 years (which is crazy). One doesn't even live in this country (U.S.). The other has become a Hype Teacher/Mother figure deeply respected (and feared) by many. The three of us haven't always seen eye to eye, but I guess that's what happens when you become truly friends with people and care about what happens to them. I'm so proud of what they've been able to accomplish in their new roles on this site.

Another is a young man from Ohio who confided in me years ago about his true sexual orientation--a good two years before he dropped the knowledge here at The Hype. I was privileged to see him fight his personal demons and emerge from this quiet, private shell and evolve into one of the Hype's most popular--and vocal--mods ever.

And finally, this other guy is totally into doggie-style activity (let it marinate, you dirty-ass minds!) and while partnered with me, conducted one of the greatest Hype April Fools Day covert operations ever seen. This system-wide action screwed up the accounts of hundreds of Hypesters, causing many to question their own sexuality and desire for hairy Baywatch actors.

Geez... put your shirt back on. Your nipples are absorbing all the sunlight.

I have shat on mods a lot lately, so I should admit that they do do a good job at keeping things civil unlike many other forums.

While I don't agree with every decision I've seen the mods make, I fully support their existence. They are the thin, red line that separates us from a bitter descent into the cesspool realms populated by IMDB and the site that shall not be named.
