You've ever witnessed. What movie left you with a sour taste in your mouth, and a depressed overall look in life, after the movie was done?

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (forget OldBoy)
United 93

Yeah, United 93 was pretty depressing.

Come to think of it, a lot of great/classic films are really dperessing.

Requiem For A Dream...

Fantastic movie but afterwards you feel completely drained of happiness.

I absolutely love the movie but Ghost World ends pretty depressingly.

United 93 I don't really count because we already know what the outcome is. Most movies that end on an apocolyptic note, or where the bad guy wins is usually pretty depressing. Arlington Road, for one. These movies are basically the ones that show what the most likely real world scenario would be.

The Crow is actually fairly depressing. Not the ending, though.

Oh Requiem for a Dream leaves you feeling totally drained.

Chinatown:
Raging Bull
The Godfather part II:
Poor Fredo :(

The most depressing movie I ever saw was "Fried Green Tomatoes". Ugh.

I absolutely can't watch Requiem For A Dream and The Virgin Suicides back to back. I'm afraid I'll want to slit my wrists afterwards.

lmfao.

it wasn't all that depressing; more like disturbing not depressing.

Leaving Las Vegas

have you seen Thirteen?

that's a disturbing kind of movie, not depressing

Years ago you never would have thought someone could possibly make Superman a depressing character, yet here we are.

the character wasn't depressing, the quality of the movie was
