I love the famous scene from children of men so much. It gets most of its praise just due to the way it was filmed seemingly in one cut, but really its just one of the most clausterphobic and desperate scened I've ever scene, trapped in a car quickly being surrounded and attacked.

also from that movie a scene that really movied me was
michael cains death "Pull my finger"

Another one from Mulholland Dr.- The Man Behind Winkie's

Birth of the Sandman is top 3 greatest scenes in the Spider-Man franchise, the movie may have sucked big time but that scene is incredibly beautiful.

That scene was the best part about that movie. One of the very few things I liked.

I can't give an answer to this question since it's asking for the whole decade. Until I have time to do some research and contemplation when I'm off of work I don't know where to start and which scenes to pick since it's asking for most memorable.

Gladiator - Just awesome. Almost ten years later, and I still get chills.
[YT]mvAbGbFYAuk[/YT]

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - This scene set up the emotional climax of the trilogy.
[YT]O_NmCh42hZM[/YT]

The Dark Knight - Really, there are a lot of scenes to choose from. But I felt that the ending was very powerful.
[YT]psSGVhTd0i8[/YT]

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - Say what you will about the prequels, but I thought this scene was incredible.
[YT]DlD8ZXUqSC4[/YT]

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - The scene that introduced us all to one of the most iconic characters of the decade.

Another one that has to be up there for me is in Moon were he calls 'home.' People who have seen it will know what I mean, great scene, all around, acting, music, visuals, just perfect, very emotional too.

don't kill the fan girl here, but this is one of my most memorable (and fave) scenes from the last decade.

Enchanted

granted before i saw this movie i thought it was going to be a cheap poke at humor, but it's actually very great. you can thank Amy Adams for that. she's truly mesmerizing the whole film and plays the role with such energy and sincerity that she makes you believe her.

this scene is so memorable to me because of Amys expressions. Through the dance she doesn't say a word but what her eyes and face say, say so much. it's been a long time since i've seen an actor who can convey so much without saying a word, and those are the actors i love.

The opening scene of Inglourious Basterds between Colonel Hans Landa of the SS and Monsieur Pierre Lapeddite.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith- The Anakin/Obi-wan duel.

The Dark Knight- Semi flip.

You don't get much more memorable than Neo's awakening in the first Matrix.

Some of the clips here remind me how damn good no country for old men really was.

Dumbledore's fall from the top of the Astronomy tower and the confrontation with the Death Eaters. The one part of the movie, I though echoed the book well.

Some ones that come to mind for me:

Gladiator:

"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridas. Commander of the armies of the north. Loyal servant to the true Emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Husband to a murdered wife, father to a murdered son, and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring:

Boromir's death....one of the great heroic warrior falls in film.

Also, YOU SHALL NOT PASS!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers:

When Gandalf basically performs an exorcism on King Theoden and releases him from Saruman.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King:

Theoden's death...."I know your face....Eowyn", echoing the same line from TTT.

Gandalf's speech about death and the far green country...gets me misty.

Sam carrying Frodo up the mountain.

Batman Begins:

Right before he goes to save Rachel from Scarecrow, when he runs to the secret bookshelf and goes down in his elevator to the Batsuit, it just all feels like such an iconic Batman moment.

The Dark Knight:

The interrogation room scene.....almost shades of The Silence of the Lambs.

lol cant believe no one has mentioned the most memorable...

matrix bullet dodge

Guys, guys, guys. You all forgot one of the best opening scenes of the decade. This scene was even from a comic book movie. If you look up memorable in the dictionary, this can fit the definition.

A few for me :)

The guy smothering Jack 's Character to put him to merciful end and finally breaking out of the looney bin in the one who flew over the cuckoos nest.

2. The TRex's awesome entry in Jurassic Park I.. The CGI flawless, the animatronic full size dinosaur insertion combo was one of the greatest movie wonders of my life

3.. When jake in digital 3D is locked into the mind machine and gets transported into his body for first time... Jake in Pandoria versus the Thanator(Greatest and most realistic pulse ravelling sequence dealing with a creature of all time)

4. Jake experiencing the wonders of Pandoria and going flying..Wow

5.. The Lord of the Rings.... Gandolf faces his fears and stands before the firedemi god.... " Thou shalll not pass!!" :)

6.. Superman catches Lois in one hand and then the damn helicopter falls and he easily catches it in the other hand... Man I remember the whole audience yelling expletives or words of excitement..
" You got me??!" " Who's got you!"
