Well its the end of the year and I feel that overall we've had some pretty good movies. However, some scenes in the movies I've seen this decade have stuck with me for quite a while and I don't think I'll ever forget them. Most of these scenes are favorited on my youtube account. My top 10 most memorable scenes are(well I still havent seen Avatar yet and I know Im forgetting some but here they are..):

10. Pan's Labrynith (Ophelia meets the pale man)

9.
The Dark Knight (Interrogation scene)

8. Kill Bill (The bride vs. the crazy 88s)

7. Spirited Away (Sen gets lost in the spirit world)

6. Up (life montage)

5. Oldboy (hammer fight)

4. Let the Right one in (pool scene)

3. There will be blood ("I drink your milkshake")

2. Spider-man (final swing)

1. The Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the ring prologue)

Some great scene's there, but there are so many more that are worth a mention as well.

Great choices. I don't agree on the order, but all 10 are worthy of a mention.

The Battle of Helms Deep definitely.

The train battle in Spider-Man 2. I think it was way more memorable than the final swing in SM-1.

There are just so many, Jean's sacrifice in X2 still gets to me now.

The 3rd acts of Transformers and District 9 are simply stunning entertainment as well, there are simply too many good moments.

Yeah. Problem?

Sorry, I lied. It's my opinion. It's not memorable at all. If you don't think so then it isn't. My fault people.

you can not be serious. the train scene is just an action sequence. the final swing is what defined the first spiderman movie. it started the comicbook CGI era where you were swinging with SM in the air

dudeeeeeeeeeeee

train fight.

no other action sequence this decade excited me more (matrix lobby fight is in the 90's)

can't post the link 'cause of the gore factor, but the opening credits to zombieland.

Hey, this thread is all about opinion. I don't really think the interrogation scene in The Dark Knight was "OMFG AMAZING MEMORABLEZ@!!1!!" but that's what the thread starter thinks, and that's just his opinion.

If Joker likes Spidey 2's train fight, let him be.

Although I love the train fight, I think the final swing in Spider-man is absolutely amazing. Maybe because I saw when I was 11 years old. And that final perch on the side of the flag pole (I know a lot of people hate that big)...but it give me goosebumps

After seeing Avatar, I gotta say I love the banshee flying scene and when Jake runs for the first time in his avatar

Birth of the Sandman is top 3 greatest scenes in the Spider-Man franchise, the movie may have sucked big time but that scene is incredibly beautiful.

iron man, the scene where rhodey sees the suit for the first time...

lol, i love watching these youtube scenes.

Do I look like I'm joking? :hoboj: :cwink:

the train scene is just an action sequence.

What do you mean just an action sequence? It's the greatest display of Spidey in battle that's ever been put on screen. Bar none.

And the fact that Spidey was fighting to save MJ and New York, it held alot of significance. There was alot at stake for Spidey, both personally and as a hero.

I don't put much stock into a web swinging sequence, as pretty as it was, it was just that, a brief bit of eye candy. There was suspense and adrenaline in the train fight.

I can understand that. Nostalgia can be very powerful.

Birth of Sandman is just about the only genuially good scene in SM3. One that actually has feeling in it. And I think it shows that Raimi put his heart into that, probably the only thing he put his heart into completely in the film.
