The most DISTURBING movie/s you've ever seen THREAD.

You know, Fire in the Sky did disturb me. It used to scare the every living crap out of me. I remember a few nights as a 12 year old just being terrified of being abducted. I don't believe in any of that alien abduction stuff anymore, but that flashback sequence is still some truly scary stuff. Still the best depiction of the nightmarish terror of an alien encounter on film.

I read the plot description for Human Centipede 2.

I had to wipe it from my browser history after reading it. I felt like I had done something wrong.

Africa, Blood and Guts (1970) directed by Gualtiero Jacopetti, is the most disturbing movie I've ever seen.
The Lottery (1969) directed by Larry Yust, Race with the Devil (1975) directed by Jack Starrett, and Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) directed by John Carpenter, were the most creepy and disturbing movies to me that I saw when I was a kid.

The sequel is so much worse. I figured when they said it would make the first look like kiddie stuff, it was hyperbole.

It wasn't.

OH DEAR GOD THEIR MAKING A THIRD.

Yeah, the second is a far more revolting movie, but at the end of the day, I think the first one got more goosebumps out of me. The ending really is some scary ****. Part two just sort of stops, and in terms of narrative and character, it's an enormous copout. Instead of your last thoughts being shudders when the credits roll, you're like "that's it?"

I don't know where the hell Tom Sixx is going to take the third one. I'm not entirely sure where you could take it next. Willing participants? Just as gross as part 2, but in full on color and more rape? A REAL human centipede? How do you go as far away from part 2, as part 2 did from part 1? I could imagine a movie as disgusting as Human Centipede 2, but it's beyond me to conceive of a movie that makes it look like My Little Pony in comparison short of shooting something real.

Come to think of it, Buried was pretty disturbing. It does such an excellent job of burying you alive with the main character. It's something I think we're all a little afraid of but don't give much thought. Yet if it happened to you, what would you do? What COULD you do? That movie stayed with me for a long time after seeing it.

Ryan Reynolds is a much better actor than people give him credit for. He carried that movie entirely on his own.

After watching A Serbian Film, I can definitely see why it's such a controversial film. Definitely one of the most genuinely disturbing and uncomfortable films I've seen in a long time.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. That's an ending that will stay with you for awhile.

Men Behind The Sun. (Most horrifying movie i've ever sat through! horrifying stuff about near the end of WWII how the Japanese tortured Chinese and Russians with graphic torture, gore, a real cat being thrown into a pit of flesh-eating rats, footage of an actual dead kid's body having an autopsy in a real morgue and all the way to a guy suffering in a decompressing chamber
Salo.
Cannibal Holocaust.
Cannibal Ferox.
Ilsa She-Wolf of the SS.
Martyrs.
Caligula.
Pink Flamingos.
In a Glass Cage.
The Untold Story (aka Bunman).
Jungle Holocaust aka Last Cannibal World.
Guiena Pig.
Maniac (1980).
The New York Ripper.
Bloodsucking Freaks.
Begotten.
AntiChrist.
Inside.
Videodrome.
House on The Edge of the Park.
Last House on The Left (1972).
Nightmare (1981) aka nightmare in a damaged brain.
Funny Games (1997).
Aftermath.

Eden Lake wasn't that bad, Hostel kind of laughable including it's sequel compared to these shockers.

I've heard horrific things about Serbian Film but i refuse to see that trash.

Lol I saw someone said the 4th Kind. I thought I was the only person in the world that movie unnerved. Stupid owls.

The Mist's ending really depressed me, and it kind of stuck with me. In a disturbing way I guess?

Pink Flamingos has it for me. There was no point during that movie where I didn't think 'Who the **** green-lit this, and why the **** am I watching this crap?"

I caught Eden Lake this weekend. Pretty good. I have a new found respect and attraction for Mrs. Watson (Kelly Reilly).

Just finished watching The Human Centipede. Whomever came up with the concept for this movie is one sick mutha****er!

The Room.

Tommy Wiseau's acting is pretty disturbing. I didn't think anyone could act that bad. :oldrazz:

That movie is basically about this whole thread.

I think it's a fine piece of entertainment. Probably a better movie that most stuff out there today. Tommy Wiseau is a true genius.

The original Black Christmas from 1974. Creepy as hell, and very disturbing. Still holds up to this day.

WARNING: FOUL LANGUAGE IN SOME OF THESE SCENES. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Megans missing is disgusting. I hated it so much I had to force my friends to watch it. Omg dude I hate it

I saw it recently too. Surprisingly, I really liked. Its a pretty good thriller. And I love how the director put in a little social commentary about how parents are responsible for their children's behavior by ignoring it or enforcing it at home. So true...I'd say over 80% of punks out there are like that because of lame parents. :o
Its not that disturbing though, beside the scene where the kid is lit on fire
