The most powerful villain on Heroes

Depends on if Peter controls Hiro's power and changes things or not. After all, there was entire episode designed around Hiro finding out about the future and going back to change things. The only characters that can currently change the entire world if they wanted, would be Hiro and Peter. Due to the fact Sylar was not able to get Hiro's power, thankfully.

If Sylar ever gets his powers back, I wonder if he'll ever actually use his demolecularizing powers again? We only saw it in that one episode and never saw another wrench getting liquefied. :p

Sylar is still the most powerful, since he has powers from several specials and if he kills more, he will grow in power exponentially. And since he can quickly dissect a situation, he will be able to figure out a counter early as well. That's why I think in S2 they intentionally took away all his powers, otherwise aside from Peter and Hiro no one else can stand up against him (not even Claire).

The Hatian, Maury and Matt are also capable of defeating Sylar

Forgot about the Haitian. As for Maury & Matt, I agree that they have a chance but if Sylar can figure it out quickly that it's just a mental illusion, he might be able to defeat it. Since that's part of his specialty, I think he can probably defeat them.

I like the metaphor that Adam is Lex with a couple centuries to get it right. It really puts his whole character in perspective, and you realize just how dangerous he can be.

I think there may be Adam vs Hiro II, and this time Hiro might not be so easily defeat Adam.

I still don't get the paradox of Isaac's painting, though.

Isaac paints the future. But he painted Hiro/Kensei...even though that happened almost 400 years ago.

This is why you have to be careful about time travel. :oldrazz:

So sylar would defeat the hatian, go watch "FY.G Gone" again

But it was Hiro's future, even though it took place in the past.

Exactly. Imagine a Lex Luthor who's guaranteed to bounce back no matter what you do to him. A Lex Luthor who could take on anybody and anything and, win or lose, will always come back for seconds because he can out think Death itself.

Okay, yeah, I basically just described Ra's Al Ghul. So, let me rephrase: Imagine a Ra's Al Ghul who doesn't have to worry about not making it back to a Lazarus pit in time.

Matt Parkman.

As far as I'm concerned he's got bad guy written all over him. In the future he was a mutant stalking stormtrooper who blew HRG's brains out and now he can and willingly uses his mind control powers to manipulate people and rip information he wants out of their heads against their will.

Sylar has killed lots of people, but eventually he will stop once he feels he's reached his ultimate evolution, Parkman I feel however will steadily evolve into the worst kind of monster...a Mind Raper/freewill stealer.

He doesn't have the strength of will or character to use his abilities for good, maybe if his dad was Pa Kent instead of an Evil Charles Xavier, but as it stands his unhappy childhood has laid the ground work for a Telepathic Version of Erik Lehnsherr.

Not to mention that in a Sylar Vs Parkman standoff, Sylar would lose because not only would parkman hear his thoughts before he translated them into action, but he could subvert his will and make sylar cut his own head off.
