The N64 Thread!!!!!

A really good game on the n64 would have too be.....killer instinct gold best
fighting/melee game on the n64 :yay:.

Pokemon stadium came out and I remember it was the new craze! Everyone had it and it was how we made our money for comics and bets! We brought our best line ups on that poke ball labelled field.

Stadium was pretty huge back in 2000 or whenever it came out. I remember being so pumped when my parents got back from the store and gave it to me.What really ticked me off was that I only got the GB adapter pack to work once, maybe twice, so I never had the opportunity to use my Pokemon from Red and Blue. Still loved it, though.

Yeah, I remember that great day. It was my twelfth birthday, and the parents surprised me with that game. I remember getting it through the post early, and playing it before school.
Got in later to school, to boast about owning it before anyone else.

Those were the days.

Never really got into the game much, but I recall playing it at a friend's house and putting my Pokemon Yellow dream team on it and rocking some *****es (mind you so did my poke obsessed friend at the time and he had three much better teams).

Honestly Pokemon was a craze that began and ended with Red, Blue and Yellow. When the sequels came out that said they had "new discovered Pokemon" I was like "**** this."

BTW Anyone remember Pokemon Snapshot for the N64? I remember being pumped for that so I could see Pokemon in real color and 3D for the first time in a video game. I rented it and beat it in about 5 minutes (or some short amount of time) and went....that kind of sucks. But it was still fun.

But yeah that was when the N64 still amazed. Looking back at its library it still does. It and PS1 had so many more great titles than any system of this or the previous generation. Sure the graphics are better and more games are produced every year. But in a generation that brought us Mario 64, OOT, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Super Smash Bros, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII and VIII, Silent Hill, the original Tony Hawk games, Neversoft's Spider-Man, Mission: Impossible, Banjo-Kazooi, Jet Force Gemeni, 1080 Snowboarding and so many others

gaming was just at another level of quality that generation.

Yeah I remember that I loved throwing those annoying balls at the pokemon just to bug the crap out of em! Anyone else agree that after they added new pokemon that the show and games went downhill?

Yep, it went downhill soon after the new additions.
I could count the 150, but 100 more? Prrfts.

(...vote for me in the HMH...)

Did Marvel make any action games for N64 besides that awsome spider-man game!?
