It has to be Evans.

Tatum sucks and Stan just isn't physically right for the role.

In light of the recent news, I've added a third line to my signature.

If Marvel hired Tatum it would be an embarassing misfire, just hire Evans and be done with this joke/circus/sideshow of a saga.

I think it will end up Evans getting Cap and Stan getting bucky. I am sure they like both and want Stan in some capacity, this makes the most sense. Evans, Stan, and Weaving is a pretty good start to casting.

Some of you worry me. "Yeah, Evans and RDJ would have great chemistry!!!", "Evans would be a fun Cap to watch!!!". I'm sure Evans and RDJ would get along, I'm sure Evans can be fun, but I'm not looking for Evans to do any of that. I want Evans (if cast) to be Cap. Period. Not fun, not RDJ's best friend or comedic counterpart. This isn't "Captain America on Ice".

I'm worried because although some of you have assured me Evans can play a serious role, but I'm starting to think you guys just like Evans. I'm worried the Marvel guys might be going that direction too. I'm not looking to watch Chris Evans, I'm looking to watch Captain America.

Edit: With that said I would take Evans over Tatum any day.

He's coming!!! :cap:

None of those three are exciting to me.I hope this isnt the best they came up with.

How did Tatum make the top three?

I just looked up Stan on imdb and he's kind of funny-looking. Seems like Evans is the only real choice.

I've seen Sebastian Stan in a few episodes of Gossip Girl. Which I watch because its an interesting show. So nothing about that.

Anyway, he is an average actor, but he has this extraordinarily weasily and obnoxious air about him, and its not just the character he plays. He also has one of the most puncheable faces i've seen in a while. I really don't want to be watching Cap and have random impulses to sock him in the face. He would be almost as bad as Tatum, somewhere in the John Krasinski area. I don't know how he could have possibly had a better screentest than Mike Vogel, or even Bethel.

I wish we got something about Devin saying the toxic script buzz.

It still irks me that he just dropped that line and didn't elaborate it at all. That's hack journalism.

Well the thing is that Evans has that immense likeability about him, much like Krasinski kind of did. He's the type of actor that's usually fun to watch, and we want the Cap movie to be just that. Feige and Johnston have said that CA is going to have that Raider of the Lost Ark fun to it, so we must have an actor that conveys that sense of adventure while still maintaining a serious mentality.

Let me say this: as much as I am looking forward to this film, Channing Tatum being cast is the dealbreaker. He's the one man who would actually turn me away.

No way Stans is the favorite if you werent gonna cast American, they could get alot better.

Why would Marvel even audition the guy if Feige said they were going to cast an American? It's not like he is the spitting image of Steve Rogers and just happens to not be American.
