Cillian Murphy's already got the Scarecrow, I don't think he'd want to play another villain. As for Vincent Cassel, he may look the part, but can he pull off an American accent? Because I don't want to see a French Carnage running around.

Don't you ever guys considered that Carnage as portray in Spidey 4 will be the Carnage of the ultimate universe? It would make sense since having the 616 Carnage right after Venom will be a little bit of a reash. For you fans it is not but for the lambda audience it is, they won't buy it.

If we have to have a toned down Carnage I go with Mr. Socko's choice. I always saw Cletus as a rather unattractive and ugly guy whose looks are just as twisted as his brain.

I really dont see the need for an R rating. I know Carnage is vicious, but they can tone it down so that he just kills people and doesnt rip them completely apart.
