Ben Foster.

Ooohh yeah, good one there, Boom. Ben Foster is seriously just bloodcurdling.

Same discussion, who should play Cletus if Carnage is in a future Spiderman movie. I'm still sticking with Cillian Murphy. Don't forget to vote.

Vincent Cassel

This guy screams Carnage. Too many pretty boys in the poll. Carnage should be an ugly son-of-a-pup.

Robert Knepper FTW!!!!!!!!

I don't take credit for the following picture:

This guy looks way to mellow. And the only reason Murphy is winning is most people know who he is. The others are no names.

Vincent Cassel would be perfect.

I agree completely DACMAN. Vincent Cassel totally screamed Carnage to me. The only reason everyone wants Cillian it seems is because he was a good Scarecrow.

^He seems good for the part...He needs to bulk up though...Also if you are looking for a bad ass...I think Mark Wahlberg could play that part!

Carnage isn't really a bad ass. That's more like the Punisher. Carnage is more just the craziest mother who's ever lived.

Ben Foster.

Good pick. I could see this one. He's a great actor. Anytone have any doubts just watch "Hostage." He's already been two different characters in two different Marvel movies though. I like to have one actor play just one character in the MU.

I hope Murphy doesn't get this role. I am a firm believer that once you play a comic character, you cannot play another comic chracter. Especially in the same universe, as Ben Foster did. Giving him a third Marvel character would be ridiculous. There are plenty of actors out there.

I think I was the first guy to mention Knepper at the role.
guys, go and watch one of the episodes of Prison Break Season 3.
just look at Robert Knepper's interpretation of T-Bag.
he would be for Carnage what Heath was for Joker. he's that good.
in fact, I think Ledger pretty much studied Robert Knepper's acting to make the Joker. we can see it in the way he licks the lips and looks.

I think playing a very similar character in the past will make producers LESS likely to choose that person. I mean, Heath Ledger didn't play a lot of psychopaths before he was cast in TDK. Knepper's Carnage would probably be too similar to "T-Bag," and I feel like people are just picking him because he plays a somewhat similar character on Prison Break. (I'm just assuming that based on what people are saying about him on the thread - I may be wrong as I've never watched the show.) Same thing with Cillian Murphy - people have seen him play an insane villain a few times, so they associate with it.

Carnage would be a role that a LOT of actors would be willing to sink their teeth into. Actors LOVE playing those psychopath roles - I mean, how many established actors were pushing hard for the Joker? Quite a few. Personally, I find it more interesting to think of people who HAVEN'T really played villain/psycho roles and think about what they could do with it.

I vote none.................................

Have you all gone mad? They couldn't even make Venom a badass on screen, because of the children-like conditions on these films, Venom himself needed help from another villain to try and take down Spider-Man.

Yet, you all want to see a blood thirsty, thrill killing machine, with weapons for human destruction, a damn-near unstoppable in your face serial killer, who paints murals with body parts and calls it art?

Do you people really want to see a watered-down Carnage, worst than that of the 90s series' Carnage, so you can spend another 3 years damning the director for going the Winnie-The-Pooh route with such a character. Have you all lost your damn mind, they'll turn CaRnAgE into Dora The Explorer!

Right. So because they screwed up Venom we shouldn't even talk about about how to do Carnage right. :whatever:

If everyone thought like you we'd never have TDK.

Nuff said!!!! can't be more clearer than that!!

Dude, if you're gonna act the sheep, don't be his. He hates everything.

That makes no sense. How would the Carnage of a PG-13 rated action movie possibly be more watered down than the Carnage of a "Y" rated Saturday morning cartoon show for kids? I mean, they couldn't say the word "kill" or show blood in the cartoons, but he obviously can in a movie. I'm sure they'd still be able to make him a serial killer, show him killing people....it wouldn't be ultra-graphic deaths filled with blood and gore, but still.

The Dark Knight had the Joker and remained PG-13.

the funny thing is,if carnage is cast....it most likely will not be anyone in the poll lol
