Maybe....

Wow Robert Knepper looks pretty psycho.... i think he should be Carnage but i also want Sylar to be Carnage Too tough decisions

who the **** votes for johnny knoxville as kletus

i doubt we'll ever get to see Carnage in any Spiderman film, but if he is ever included i would go with Matthew Lillard. he somewhat resembles Kletus from the comics. and he can defiantely pull of the role of a pyschopath.

Robert Knepper FTW!!!!!!!!

The crowd-pleasing, reigning champ is...ROBERT KNEPPER! *Crowd goes wild* ;)

My #1 pic would be Zack Ward (played the Bully from the Christmas Story when he was a kid). He was pretty scary in Jason VS Freddy, and his acting in Transformers was pretty good although short.

My other pic would be Carrot Top he is freaky looking and would make a really manic villian, but he might make Carnage a little too campy like Jim Carey's Riddler.

BTW I know Raimi hates the whole 1990's spiderman comics and he won't do Carnage, but there is hope for the future that a different director might use Carnage. There are also rumors of a ( Rated R) Venom spin off movie that could also have Carnage as the serial killing mass murding Villain.

I'm sticking with Cillian Murphy.

He can pull off an American accent and looks the part. He's the best pick for Carnage.

^^ Cillian Murphy is one of my favorite choices right now. Cillian Murphy proved how great he can pull off being a psychopath in Batman Begins and TDK.

Although Cillian could definitely play the part well, he's definitely not taking it. He's explicitly stated he's not playing anymore villains (except for Scarecrow if he appears in the BB/TDK sequel). And the fact that people are choosing him based on the fact that he played a villain in only two movies out of the thrity others he's done feels like narrow-minded typecasting to me.

Anyway, I voted for Vincent Cassel. He's totally got the looks for it, but I'm not sure on the voice. I only saw one movie with him in it, and he spoke only French in it.

Or Crispin Glover.

Actually, the interview in which Cillian said that is a couple of years old now, and he just played Scarecrow again in TDK. Yes, I know it was a brief cameo, but still, it could happen. It doesn't neccessarily mean he wouldn't do it if asked. Maybe that's just me since I can't imagine anybody else as Carnage, but how many times did Sigourney Weaver explicitly state she would NEVER reprise her role in another Alien movie? And how many times did she reprise her role in another Alien movie?

BTW, people aren't choosing just because he played a villain in two movies. He's been in other movies such as Breakfast On Pluto and Red Eye that prove he can pull off the part.

I already did mention that Cillian would play Scarecrow if asked, and the two movies that I mentioned did include Red Eye. I'm aware that the interview was rather old, and he could make an exception, but it would take alot of convincing for him, I'm sure, as Cillian emphasizes variety in his roles, and I don't think he'd want to do another comic book supervillain.

And TBH, I never was that intrigued by Carnage, and I don't exactly like seeing such a good talent like Cillian's get pigeonholed to comic-book villains.

I think he'd rather do a movie where he's the main and only villain as opposed to doing a brief cameo. Besides, being a villain seems to be his bread and butter.

And BTW, despite your feelings toward Carnage, if a talent like Cillian doesn't play the part, it's not like they can cast anyone better.

ok, if raimi is doing the next movies. carnage shouldnt even be considered since he already ruined venom. And i hear he wants to add the sinister six in into it, you cant just add a huge amount of villains into one movie! it doesnt work that way!

There's plenty other actors who can play good villains; Cillain's not the only one. And how is being a villain his "bread and butter?" He can play good heroes as well.

You totally took what I said out of context. Yes, there are plenty of actors who can play villains, and I realize Cillian isn't the only one. I said he's the best pick for Carnage. Anybody else casted for the part wouldn't be as good, IMO.

And what I meant by my "bread & butter" comment is that the role of a villain seems to be what he does best.

Well, I just don't think Cillian should play Carnage, not just because he's too good to get typecast as a villain, but also because it's extremely unlikely he'd sign up for the role. Just as Gary Oldman said that he's not doing anymore villainous roles (and has done a good job of keeping to that), I really think Cillian meant it when he said that he's not playing anymore bad guys.
