So, okay, Diamonds website is screwed up and doesn't have access to the Diamond List for this week. However, I did happen to find another party's website that seems to have gotten the list before Diamond's website went on the fritz. Far as I can tell, it matches the boxed list Diamond keeps separate on their own website, so it looks legit. I'll go back and check to make sure once Diamond fixes the problem, but this looks pretty accurate. Anyway, on to the list:

WHAT IF SPIDER-MAN KILLED KRAVEN THE HUNTER? At the rollicking conclusion of this year's modern classic GRIM HUNT, the Amazing Spider-Man had his undead arch-foe Sergei Kravinoff at his mercy - and let him live. But what if Spider-Man had crossed the line from hero to killer? See how one fatal decision changes the life of a man and the people he loves!

PLUS, What If: The Venom Symbiote Possessed Deadpool - Part 3!

I have these already. I missed the "Shoot" one, I'll have to look for it.
Thanks again.

My shop isn't even getting in any of these $7.99 titles. What do they look like? Are they just "Megazine" style comics with a regular soft cover, or are they formated like a trade paperback?

I've gotten DC Presents: Green Lantern and Vertigo Resurrected: Extremis. The DC Presents was formatted basically like a really large single issue with ads and everything, if memory serves. The Vertigo Resurrected was more of a trade format, had a spine and such, only had one ad at the beginning and one at the end (I have an actual trade collection of Morrison's Seaguy, and it's roughly the same format and size).

DMZ #60 $2.99

One of the last minis I'm buying... sad. Once Justice League GL is over, that's it, bye floppy comics.

INVINCIBLE #76
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #650
AVENGERS ACADEMY #7
CHAOS WAR #4
IRON MAN LEGACY #9
OFFICIAL HANDBOOK OF THE MARVEL UNIVERSE A TO Z UPDATE #5
THUNDERBOLTS #151

Heavier week than the last two. That figures. Is Diamond still taking the last week of December off, like they did last year?

Avengers Academy was originally solicited for the first week of December, but has skipped 2 weeks behind, likely because Mike McKone was no longer drawing the interior art. That's still not too bad in terms of lateness. At the very least, 3 out of 6 Marvel titles are $2.99 (even though IRON MAN LEGACY is likely not long for this world, as low as sales are). And any week with a Handbook is a good week.

Metalocalypse Dethklok #2 (Of 3) $3.99
Batman And Robin #18 $2.99
Meta 4 #4 (Of 5) $3.50
Deadpool MAX #3 $3.99
Strange Tales II #3 (Of 3) $4.99- It's a shame that Marvel is distancing themselves from, as they call it, "fringe" books like this. Other than Fantastic Four I'm not interested in anything they put out.

Brightest Day #16
Green Lantern #60
Green Lantern Emerald Warriors #5
Avengers Academy #7
Chaos War #4
Thunderbolts #151
Uncanny X-Force #3
X-Factor #212

Good week.

Brightest Day #16 $2.99
Green Lantern #60 $2.99
Green Lantern Emerald Warriors #5 $3.99
Titans #30 $2.99
Avengers Academy #7 $2.99
Uncanny X-Force #3 $3.99
Black Terror #12 $3.99

Maybe
Thunderbolts #151 $2.99
X-Factor #212 $2.99
Batman And Robin #18 $2.99

All three Maybe's I'm already an issue or two behind on and I'm debating on dropping Thunderbolts and X-Factor all together. Batman & Robin I didn't like Cornell's first issue and am debating on just waiting for Tomasi's start. Due to the pricey week, I'll likely skip them all or at best move them back to another week.

As for the rest, Black Terror is the biggest surprise since it's so far delayed it isn't funny. I just assumed it was done. The rest are average to above average on my excited list.

Does it annoy anyone other than me that Marvel likes to dub their own stuff classic? Shouldn't it stand the test of time and inspire other things throughout the decades to be considered a classic? Calling it a "modern" classic doesn't mean squat. It comes accross pretty offputtish and cocky to me.

I talked to my guy at my LCS last Wednesday, and he said he asked that same question to the distributor. Everything should be normal, because the holidays are falling on a Saturday. So, no problems.

Is Titans any good? It has a fairly interesting premise and I've been thinking of giving it a shot, but haven't heard any feedback on it one way or the other.

I absolutely love the book while Phaerus45 didn't and dropped it... and that's all the reviews I know, so it's 50/50 I suppose. For me, I love Deathstroke and he's fantastic in the series. The other characters are fairly interesting and they're growing on me with each issue. This current arc has been really good. They broke into Arkham Asylum to break out a couple people and have had to deal with the inmates and now Dick Grayson/Batman.

Personally, it's one of the books I look forward to most in a month. I say it's worth a try, give it a few issues, see where it goes.
