We can talk about realistic* casting ideas, director choices, the plot, and more

* I said realistic because it is highly unlikely that we would get Bale in a JL film. Sad but true ( CLICK )

This is my cast (after Batman 3 assuming that Nolan just does a trilogy)

even though JDM is great I think he's all wrong for superman

I actually never thought about him as Supes until a friend mentioned him, and made some good points. His thoughts matched what I was thinking was missing and went wrong with the first film of Superman Returns. Besides the script, all the actors were very mild, but that could've been the directing. I respect Routh, but he didn’t seem to capture something about Superman’s essence.

And with the physique, something is a little off about Routh, I’m sure he’s strong as hell, but he doesn’t have the bulk I think matches how Superman should be. It’s like Routh is more quarterback, when I’m looking for more linebacker. I remember in the audition of Watchmen, that’s one of the reasons JDM got the part, because they were impressed by his size as he walked in.

And I don’t think there would be a problem with people being taking out of the picture because he played the comedian, he also played the dad in Supernatural and he was a completely different type of character. And he’s still young enough to play a good Supes at 42, Tom Welling is 31 and gets passed for early twenties. I could see him bringing back more of the classic feel, like a new George Reeves.

Unless your Arnold or Stallone you cant match the physique Superman has lol but I see where you are coming from

But something I think alot of ppl miss when they cast Superman is Clark Kent. Now thinking hard, I can kind of see JDM as Superman but I cant at all see him as Clark Kent
