You could have Dani Moonstar and Canonball co-leaders like the comics.

Cannonball was a aw shucks insecure southern dude stereotype early on but Dani was just as bad with her 'native american don't trust the white man' routine. Both characters grew into better capable leaders later on.

I think the most obvious villains that lend themselves to supernatural stories are Demon Bear, Selene and Belasco.

Cannonball, Mirage, Karma, Magik, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Cypher and Rictor are the line up I would go with.

I think they should go with Demon Bear or Belasco. I want Selene as the villain in X-Force now that Apocalypse is no longer in play for that script.

I want to see Cyclops, Storm and Rogue mentor mutants. Colossus is already doing that in Deadpool.

It doesn't have to be set in the past again.

No idea if it's conjecture on their part or they have legit intel but HR is reporting that The New Mutants will be given the 7.13.18 release date, that FOX has been holding on to.

Doubtful. Boone has two other big projects lined up, both allegedly farther in development than this.

Now if history has taught us anything Fox just needs to seen Boone back to the drawing 2 more times then have Kinberg step in to rewrite it on the fly to meet whatever deadline it has.
