If i go to watch a Movie or TV show we all should interested in the talents from the actors and not the Races because thats Racism

That's not how it works... The Director may have quit Twitter to hide from the Minority Fanboys/girls but he will not be able to when he speaks to the press junkets in March. And it's so sad Blu/Henry will be slaughtered for accepting jobs.

This movie has a high chance to be D.O.A. (I'll do my part but I'm just one man)

Pointless thread, there's not enough people that frequent these boards that would require separating them. There's a problematic aspect of casting and that's it. Everything else about this film sounds very good and very New Mutants, and I think many people are very excited to see the Demon Bear Saga and Sienkiewicz's work come to life.

It would be ok if the other thread wasn't complaining about race because the recast actress isn't as dark as the previous actress.

I don't hold anything against these actors. Actors have to work, and they're not in the position to be choosy. The blame is on the studio and if this tanks then I can't say Fox didn't deserve it. But you're right, it won't be good for these actors, unfortunately.

If people could handle Heimdell, Valkyrie, Domino, Nick Fury, The Ancient One(people threatened that film with boycotts and we all saw how that turned out) and "That's Mary Jane, you're not fooling anyone", then I don't see how they can't handle this. It's not like its an all white cast and white actors taking the roles of Sunspot ( pretty sure Adan Canto from DOFP wasn't Brazillian) and Mirage. The people that are tying to make an argument about this (mainly the Tumblr crowd) probably never read or even heard of the comics and probably wasn't going to see this in the first place.

well again i say big double standard here.again fox is being taken to woodshed for stuff others have done.truthfuly only ceicila is case when you can really go they whitewashed.

some were bound to come after new mutants because josh boone said film has no costumes.

this film is going to live or die what general audence thinks.if josh boone makes good film that can attract people that will be all that matters.

@marvelrobbins - Fox isn't being taken the woodshed lol, just look at Dr.Strange and how they changed the Ancient One and the setting of the film. Or Olsen playing Wanda. Nolan's Ra's al Ghul, Talia and Bane also get similar flack nowadays. You gotta stop feeling victimized just because there's a few ridiculous people out on the internet.

People are becoming more and more conscious about this. And you're right, too many free passes have been given. These studios bank on us being apathetic as they take away opportunities that should be given to bodies of all colour.
