How do you ruin something that was hopelessly dumb in the first place?

by doing what they did, yes it was a dumb character but at least she was enjoyable, cupid was one of the few things that had me picking up the book

Stepping aside from the seemingly continuous questionable direction choice for the stories at the moment. Ollie's punch: In Archer's quest he talks about his draw weight being 103lbs, which is double that of the average draw weight. A pull like that, he should really have an insanely strong punch, at least average to Bruce (who by all accounts hits harder than any other non-super it seems). Shame they don't play with those kind of things. The enhancements an archer of his calibre and fitness would have compared to martial artists or olympic athlete levels vigilantes

GREEN ARROW #32
On sale APRIL 14 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US
Written by J.T. KRUL
Art by DIOGENES NEVES
Cover by FEDERICO DALLOCCHIO
Spinning out of CRY FOR JUSTICE, “The Rise and Fall” continues in “The Fall of Green Arrow” continues with Oliver Queen as a fugitive from justice. But what happens when the Justice League of America learn of his crime? The Emerald Archer's relationship with the World's Greatest Heroes will never be the same.

Last issue was good IMO. I like Cupid more and more, and I think the idea of dark archer is good. Honestly I have "difficulties" to believe the true Ollie is dark Arrow. they are the same. It makes things more interesting for me.
Cupid is fine, I think she is great, and the whole arc for her was indeed a good idea. I was shocked when I saw Hilton on the ground, I was not expecting that at all.
I do not know if the master plan behind cupid was to make her appear alongside crappy villain, but it was handled perfectly even if the story was down very often.
the consequencies of GA action, the love with Dinah, last issue proved to be interesting and treating of the right themas. Green Arrow and Black Canary are street level heroes, I like to see them handled street level problem. The issue was great. Too bad Dinah is not handled as well as she was with Gail Simone.
I'm not sure I enjoy what comes next with the after cry for justice stuff.

wow, I can not believe I'm such a bloody idiot. Reading the last issue made me realize that I did not get the story at all! I thought dark Archer was the true Ollie, and I thought the story was really well built. Damned! F**king stupid of me.
The issue ended nicely, I like Cupid pretty much, but I'm not sure about Hilton [BLACKOUT]with a knife in the head [/BLACKOUT]... The issue was fine and this arc was fine IMO. Too bad I was sure that Dark Arrow was the true Ollie. His life upside down, and all. really, I found the story interesting that way. I realize now, that the suspense was not at all what I had in mind.
Like I said: bloody idiot.

I have the scariest feeling that they're gonna **** ollie up beyond repair...

is there a reason why Ollie's outfit keeps on changing back and forth in the past decade between his outfit with the cap, and the outfit with the hood (and bellbottoms).

I did not notice before. ??
I just noticed it for the BN. I think they did want to design BN Ollie with/from the traditional outfit.

I found the BN Green Arrow very good. The writing was good, Connor Hawke was fun, without the arrows, just as a martial artist .
Dinah was great, even if I did not dig the old outfit, seing her hurt by Ollie, by the words I mean, made reminded of how fragile she can be. For human heroes, they were certainly shown as fragile and suffering. Not that it could happen to the Überbat, but at least here it was well developed.
I think the art was really neat too.

So long
Prometheus
! I'll miss you like I'll miss the stupid 1990's. Thwap!

Be nice if Ollie could explain away his bloodlust by remnants of his possession as a black lantern eh

They should have killed Roy and not Lian. :(

I think anybody became fair game after that awful Identity Crisis.

Who? Lian had been around for many decades now. I'm surprised she's not older than Damien.

Wait, what? Lian is dead ? ? Uh?
I knew Cry for Justice was bad, but not that much. So Satr City is gone, Lian is dead and Red Arrow has one cut arm.
...
So much for the Green Arrow family.
For the record, I understand Ollie's motivations by killing Prometheus. I think it is fair.
Makes Ollie really human in fact. Of course I do not like heroes killing people, and I'm completely against this death punishment, but, sometimes, they really go beyond the point of good sense. I like the symbolic of it and the grittiness of it. It was a weighted decision. Important one.
I understand he went so far, for once.

This I agree with. I'm not saying Superheros should go out killing supervillains but when they try to justify why a mass murderer keeps getting let off all the time it does get a little ridiculous.

They should have killed Roy and not Lian. :(

Damn killing innocent kids whats up with that. First it was killing the superheros wife or girlfriend and now this.

Krul's Rise and Fall Special is a million times better than freaking Cry for Justice.

Perhaps, but between the stupid "WAT OLLIE U KILD SOMEONE" "NO U ARE THE BAD BARRY" "VENGEANCE LEAGUE LUL" shouting back and forth between characters whenever a topic like this pops up, it's still not a good story by any stretch.

Seriously, exParallax and Barry Neck-Snapper are simply outraged at Ollie for killing someone? It's just...at this point all I hear is static noise. It's black and white, it doesn't serve the situation any justice (), and it's lame. We've seen this story hundreds of times before.

I love how no one really gave a **** about Lian either, other than to use her as a foil for what Ollie's going through.
