I LOLed when they called Halo Wars an absolute disaster waiting to happen. It was interesting how the reviewer of Killzone said that he'd have given it an 8 had it not been for the framerate. Guerilla does have their asses on the line this time. If they screw up, they are finished.

I'm a big a Halo fan as the next guy. But I'll be the first to say the Halo Wars looks like $h!7.

The guys that buy Halo dont want to play an RTS. Thats why it wont do as well as people think. Plain and simple. With games costing $60, people research games before buying them now, and the guys that LOVE Halo wont buy this after seeing what type of game it is.

Did you listen to the podcast in its entirety? I know...it is rather long. They just dismissed it entirely.

-NG2 looked like crap...basically. It will be good but it looks worse than DMC4. Dragon Sword is gonna be awesome tho..
-Killzone 2 is overhyped and won't deliver. In fact...it needs to get pushed back (one of the guys disagreed but yeah...)
- Halo Wars will suck
-Resistance is coo
-Fallout will be amazing

They didn't say it looks like crap, just that there isn't much a jump over Sigma, and that 'the bar has been raised' and that's DMC4. Cited lack of actual weapon switching, and the main differences being minimal. One guy, of the 3 who has played DMC4, voted it for 'over-rated'. Keep in mind that Shane still said he loves Ninja Gaiden, and was basing including it on 'over-rated' as Itagaki's insane comments, the that it probably won't live up to Ninja Gaiden 1 in terms of pushing things forward or having the same impact.

The only reason I want a 360 is to play Halo 3 and NG 2. Those were the reasons I bought an Xbox in the 1st place, to play Halo 2 and NG. I eventually branched out and found other games I enjoyed, but I still use my PS2 a heckuva lot more.

That's why I see myself buying a PS3 instead b/c the 360 doesn't have any games that grab my interest that much. And any games that do, are multi-platform anyway.

Remember when he mentioned something about the skin textures and the fact that there were NO people in any of the cities? If people criticize Resistance 2 for looking similar to the first, the same should follow for this. I'm just sayin...

Gameplay-wise I have all faith..

It's the same thing. I'm not a tech expert, but I really don't see a quantum leap from Sigma.
