Captain America: The First Avenger is the second best MCU movie imo.

I agree with MyDudeSpidey. I think all those movies are garbage. Not actually garbage of course I'm just being hyperbolic, but just really mediocre and passable fun. Which in my mind equals garbage. I'm not ok with studios like Marvel just putting out 'decent' movies just because they know they'll bring in $

Damn, you guys are rude as hell.

Cry me a river.

Some of you guys are taking things way too personally when it's not even about you in the first place.

*I don't like Jeff Sneider*

GASP!!

How you can't recognize a great film is amusing. Either you are stubborn as heck, or just trolling

Cap and Peggy's relationship is one of the best ones in comic book movies to me. It's a beautiful one yet very sad and tragic. The crash landing is one of the best scenes in the MCU to me.

Something we can both agree on. :woot:
Yes, but this is about the solo films only though.
Avengers is actually the best one (not seen AOU yet)

What's your third best solo adventure? For me it's Incredible Hulk

Daredevil by a frigging County mile
Iron Man
Winter Solider

And then there is a drop in quality with the other movies as far as I'm concerned. The movies (not listed) are good movies just not 'great' movies (IMHO).

I think Iron Man 1, the nostalgia hits me hard every time I watch it. the tone and Stark's journey are really what sells it for me.

"Gonna need a rain check on that dance" :csad: :applaud

If I'd rank the MCU films I'd go:

1) The Avengers: Age of Ultron (Top notch)
2) Iron Man (Top notch)
3) The Winter Soldier (Top notch)
4) Guardians of the Galaxy (Top notch)

5) The Avengers (Great)
6) Captain America: The First Avenger (Great)

7) Thor (Very good)
8) Iron Man 3 (Very good)

9) The Incredible Hulk (Pretty good)

10) Thor 2: The Dark World (Very disappointing)

11) Iron Man 2 (Bad)

Evans is so great as Cap! Much like in the case of RDJ, I'll be sad when Evans leaves.

The list of five guys, what if it weren't Holland, James and the other?
Imagine that the five guys to be Troye Sivan, Zach Mills, Nathan Gamble, Isaac Hempstead, Thomas Horn

It's strange how opinions on movies can differ!

I would say that cinematically speaking, IMO - without taking the MCU into consideration :

Great movies:
Iron Man
Incredible Hulk
Captain America - The first Avenger
Avengers
Captain America - The Winter Soldier

Not terrible but not great movies:
Iron Man 2
Thor
Iron Man 3
Guardians of the Galaxy(*: hard to judge this one objectively ... I'm not a fan of pure science fiction ala Star Trek)

Really bad, too many flaws, lazy script:
Thor 2
Avengers : Age of Ultron (Yes, sorry, but It has many many BIG flaws...)

Wait, when did this become the Favorite Marvel Movie topic?

The hero line was just tongue-in-cheek. :oldrazz:
word.
Obviously you are reffering to Sneiders list going to the trash because mine is so much better. :o

I think everyone agrees! :D

But rlly guys... I have seen a few Dylan haters show that he is better than at least a majority of Sneiders list. Can anyone agree with that? Maybe you agree that he is better than any on the list?
i definitely agree your list is better. And perhaps even the o'brien haters would've accepted him if somy and Disney said from the get go that they're doing college Peter pArker (which they should, imo)
I would have to agree with you that Dylan fits the role so well. But I can't say I agree on that last cb hero. [BLACKOUT](Adam West all the way!)[/BLACKOUT]
that guy is definitely not the definitive batman, but we don't need to get into that here ;) I think you got my point
Somewhere in the MCU, Uncle Ben is dying as we speak...
na.. That would mean Spider-man isn't Spider-Man yet, which he is. Uncle Ben but the bullet sometime during phase 1

People cannot seriously be buying into the idea of this guy as a 15/16 year old.
i don't believe Peter Parker is supposed to be 15 right now. That would mean, depending on how long he's been operating as a superhero, that he got bit when he was 13/14, which is ridiculous. That's just too young, and I don't want to see that juvenile of a Spider-Man, even though youth as a big thing of his character arc/mythos.

I'll tell you what I seriously buy when I look at that picture though. The best Peter Parker we could possibly have in film.
15? No.

Latter side of 16/17? Yes.

Spider-Man couldn't have become Spider-Man in phase 1. There's just no way you can go through all of these films and Spider-Man isn't at least referenced. I think he becomes Spider-Man sometime after AoU.

Why would you want to take Tom Holland out of the picture?

has it been a very short time that he's been spiderman then? if it has, then I don't want a 14/15 year old spiderman.

also, if the easter egg in daredevil is real, then spiderman has been spiderman long before av2. i'm guessing daredevil takes place close to after the events of av1, what with the whole union allied thing.

Maybe the extended version of AoU includes a Spider-Man reference?
