Charlie Rowe would be perfect but I'd be ok if Tom Holland got it. I've recently looked up some of his acting and although I don't think he totally looks the part, hes got the acting chops.

I just watched The Impossible and man Tom Holland was great in it. He's a fantastic actor, giving a very emotional and heroic performance. I cried during one scene in particular, and I almost never get upset from a movie. I think I'll cry again if he isn't cast lol, I really think he's perfect.

Anyone on that list or just anyone in general? I personally am NOT excited about either. No one really seems to stand out as that great of a pick... it's like they eliminated all the best picks and decided they would rather choose someone who no one would expect as spidey or something...

Again guys for all we know and it's is most likely case. Marvel and sony have there guy. Contracts signed. Final touches to suit being made. Ans they are just waiting to make a big splash.

I still firmly believe it be this or next week. And the actor then shooting between June 29th to say 2nd week of July. Again we don't know how much longer they are even in atlanta before they move to Berlin and Puerto Rico shoot locaks. We have to be at the end of things now.

I doubt that would happen. Again things are more likely already set and actor was picked. If there was any inkling of thst we would have heard something from folks in the know.

I'd be fine with that. That'd mean they didn't think any of the actors were up to snuff. I'd rather they take their time and find the perfect guy.

Well bane we got to remember when the deal was made public in feb. We didnt know if casting/when casting started. Still same thing now we dont know when casting started, how they went about what was likely many many rounds of early casting calls, to callbacks, to group tests, to final tests with the higher ups.

But with the report a few weeks back, and the then later reports of names knocked off list. With now just tom and charlie rowe's names being the only ones talked about. It likely is over for marvel/sony. They probably have there guy signed within the last two weeks/last week time frame. And marvel/sony are just waiting to make a big splash out of the news.

I still feel it is very likely to be this coming week/following week. So we have it out before the end of the month. So again we are not stepping on the toes of antman's buzz and press tour starting up very soon. Then second get the news out ahead of wb/dc comics comic con stuff. And again also knowing with only 2 months left in civil war shoot, and they still have two other locals to shoot in. I still feel the pick will be shooting within the dates of june 29th-july 12th. Then after that time production moves to the other locals.
