For me as I said before I just don't want to have who ever is picked be skinny today. And come x amount if films he is still skinny as heck and looks so out of place against the other marvel heroes. That is why I want someone who has that better body size and width that can bulk up. Sure I be fine with a skinny spidey for a film or teo. But by the time phase 3 ends and likely end of hs time by how mcu times go. I want to see a bulkier buff spidey all how he is in 616.


Ok looks wise as I brought up with asa and tom. Can any one take that current asa pic from his twitter as I did awhile ago next to recent tom onrs. So we can see the differences to there body types.

Anyone got any screenshots of a shirtless Asa from 2015? I think people are basing it off recent. May 6 next year. That's the 12 months away. If the actor casted by July that means they have 10 months to train for the role. I imagine but the movie gets released in May so lets cut that down to 9 months. The actor can use 7 of those months to train and the other 2 to film his scenes. Since let's be honest he probably won't have THAT many scenes probably about 5-10 scenes at most counting the scenes that he's not the main focus of.


Then they can insert the scenes into the movie last, when everything is finished. So yeah, I'd say if Tom or Asa are casted they have more than enough time to bulk up. Tom Holland does gymnastics if I heard right so he should already be in perfect shape to play Peter and won't even need to train.

Ernesth my deal with as as I brought up he is a tall lean mesomorph body type. And I posted a link in one of the threads about the 3 different type of body types there is. And how easy or hard it is for x body types are to bulk up or slime down. And asa falls under mesomorph type and that one is harder to bulk up due to there lean muscle and petite frames on top of there matabolism. That is what I fear asa could probably pull off peter and the humor if he has the skills. I just don't want spidey to be as long as asa if he is selected and if he can't bulk up at all to be how darn skinny and rail thin he is as per his most recent photos on his twitter that I also posted.

Also man you are forgetting cap 3 is released yes next may. But the actor is shooting his scenes within the next 3 to 5 weeks this yr. And the film is only shooting to about aug. Then if there is any reshoots and who knows if spidey stuff needs to be reshoot. It wouldn't be to at least jan or feb next yr. And if actor is one look now ie asa super skinny. He really couldn't if he can bulk up bulk up to much. Cause that would conflict with footage that already shot.

Now sure from when they are done with civil wsr. To when solo film is shooting likely around this time next yr. They do have a good few months to train and all that. The deal is what the guy will be looking in 3 to 5 weeks from now when they are shooting civil war.

Except Spider-Man will be 15 year-old SPIDER-BOY (people KEEP forgetting that he's still a kid!) so him having a ripped physique makes no sense whatsoever.

And he'll only TEMPORARILY have a padded suit until he can work on his physique for the 2017 Spider-Man film.

I said before I don't mind 8f for civil war and likely the first solo film maybe 2nd solo counting on its release date compared to infinity. If he is skinny. I just don't want as I said come 4 to 5 or how many films the actor is locked to to still be skinny then. I want some one who can bulk up and in time ie a few films get into that average yet buff looking guy as the comics of 616 have been for past 45+yrs.

Peterbenparker I don't think if they went with tom. That he would forever be skinny spidey boy of ultimate. He has more width and dimension to him and could likely bulk up much more then asa could.

Again I just don't want spidey to be a twig now. And still be a twig yrs from now. That is not how I picture spiderman. I like for him in time to be on par body size wise as at least cap and falcon are heck even renner. I don't expect him to be wwe wrestler size. Just not a twig.

Yeah, that makes sense, I have seen a lot of videos of him doing gymnastic type stuff, I thought it was just him randomly doing it, but that makes more sense.

Padding never looks very good, especially when you see skinny parker before hand... then you see him putting on his padded suit... that just wont work well. :/

Or do you mean you want his actual suit in the MCU to be padded for protection? I don't like that idea either.

Comicbooks have a highly stylized look to them where as a movie with actual people in front of your eyes has to do different things with the character physiques

Harry again with how mcu time moves and the amount of time it takes films like this to actually get made. I still doubt we will see a full trilogy set in hs. As much as they may want that. And counting on release dates for 2nd and 3rd film. And if we know peter is a freshmen in 2016 mcu. He has to be done with hs by 2020 of mcu. We logically will only see 2 films actually set fully in hs setting. Before character and time ages up. Again who ever is picked only be playing 15 to 16 yr old peter forever. He will age over every film. And by the time phase 5 probably wraps up the character would likely then be hitting thst late 20s to early 30s look comics keep him locked at. And likely how it be. When this actor leaves and his replacement comes in.

Damn, MJ. you dumped Peter just because he got shot in the shoulder and hunted by the police.. and almost bled to death.

There's no way in hell that Asa's body will remain the same come 7 years.

the character will evolve , i mean he´ll go to HS the whole trilogy, in the first movie he is just starting ,as he does more superhero activity he´ll grow up ,in the second movie Peter will be older, better and stronger as spider-man, i think that´s the point of this new reboot: a coming of age movie.

As I said before my beef isn't on a skinny spidey now. I am ok with it for a few films ie around 3 films. I want the character to look like a more buff out guy in time. Ans my fear is if asa is our pick we would always be stuck with a twig spidey next to the likes of the other mcu heroes and that is not how I picture spidey. And I have no hate to ult spidey. Loved the series. I just prefer in live action form for my spidey to at least end up more 616 look.

I would like someone more of the evans Hemsworth Jackman body type that can bulk up and actually add size and width to them.

This is nothing on can the actor play the role. I do hope who ever is picked can nail the spidey humor and the peter side. I am talking more on the look of the mcu spidey in relation to the rest of the mcu heroes.
