Homecoming The Next Spider-Man - - - - - - - - - Part 18

Charlie Plummer or Charlie Rowe for Peter Parker. Asa Butterfield or Tom Holland for Harry Osborn and Dylan O'Brien for Eddie Brock. There! :p

Fixed it to suit my feelings, lol.

Rowe Rowe Rowe my boat!

but really, Charlie Rowe all the way. I'm glad there's others besides Asa and Tom to consider now, and the others are just too damn young

Hearing Rowe's name in the mix now has me excited about the casting for the next SM for the first time in months. Really hope he gets it but also reallyyy afraid to get my hopes up and be crushed

alright last Rowe post sorry.. But seriously, damn this kid is perfect. He has the exact look, energy, and just fun-ness and good-nature about him that seems perfect for Peter/Spidey

No worries dude.

I'd be quite happy if he got it.

thank you! couldn't figure out why it wasn't working lol. Much appreciated

what was wrong with it btw, so I can fix my original ha

I have to admit that I don't know much of any of these actors. But I get a good vibe from Charlie Rowe. He seems like someone who can have humour and the gentleness of Peter Parker naturally.

We really have no idea how these young actors have done in their screen tests though. Someone could have knocked it out of the park and seperated themselves from the rest of the pack.

He has more energy and enthusiasm than Asa and his voice is better and not as dry.

He also is a bit reminiscent of Charlie Cox.

He looks a lot like Jake Gyllenhaal to me.

He does now you mention it. I didn't mean that Rowe resembles Cox just that he reminds me of him in terms of likability and parts of his personality.

Wish he could've played Spidey instead of Tobey. :csad:

I think Tobey did a great job as Peter Parker, even if a little too reserved. He was very likeable to me, which is the most important thing. He couldn't deliver a quip even if his life would depend on it though :P

Jake Gyllenhaal has come to be one of my favourite actors these days. He's delivered consistently these latest years. He's not our Peter Parker now (though I'd love to see him as an older Spider-Man if that would ever happen). But I'd absolutely love to see him get a role in the MCU. I was hoping for him to get the role of Dr. Strange but oh well, there are other roles out there.

I see! Charlie Cox is some of the best superhero casting ever if you ask me (and there are LOTS of great ones!). If Charlie Rowe reaches that level of perfection, we're in for a great ride!

Yeah, looking back on his overall performance, I enjoyed Tobey as PP.

Agreed completely, and him being an older Spidey who's a teacher at Midtown High? :hmr:

I just watched that interview with Rowe and his personality really does remind me of Charlie Cox.
