I summoned the thead manager!

Like who?

Possibly everyone. :funny:

Good or bad, the threads will blow up for a bit.

Ned as in Ned Bigby? From Ned`s School Guide? God, I`m getting old!

Yup, that's him and me too!

What would you do if you got the role?

Shave, hopefully get my braces off, take a long look in the mirror, brace myself for Michael Keaton backlash, take acting lessons, and face the music. :spidey:

If the reports about Marvel having creative control are believed to be true, then I think it makes it even more likely that Dylan will get the role.
Dylan is in the same the casting patterns as Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, and Paul Rudd. they were all known for their humorous sides and Marvel eventually cast all three of them in important roles in the MCU.
Plus, based on the fact that Marvel cast Benedict Cumberbatch and Paul Rudd as their respective roles in the MCU, we know Marvel ARE willing to cast fan-favorites.

Was Robert really a fan fave at the time? I thought he was a marvel gamble that paid off

Actually I'm not really sure.. I've heard a few people mention his name back then, but I'm not really sure he could have qualified for "fan-favorite"

Better edit my post

This still worries me because miles fans still loud on internet thanks to news outlet reporting trollsneider podcast. But i'm sure marvel isn't that stupid to hear their rants.
Dylan O'brien or Logan Lerman still marvel frontrunners

As far as casting is concerned Marvel almost ALWAYS nails it.
We already know for a fact that Marvel will be using Peter Parker, so I wouldn't worry about it, man.
And I'm sure they've taken note of all the support Dylan and Logan are receiving.

Sure.
But i hope marvel and sony won't interpret those miles fanatics rants as a "what most of fans wish". Marvel also must see general public interest, all MCU movies so far were enjoyable by fans alike and general public.

If they cast Emily Blunt as Captain Marvel beforehand then yes, I will believe O'Brien and Lerman are truly the only 2 or most important contenders. Which is fine btw.

Also I wouldn't classify Chadwick Boseman as a fan-favorite. Although his recent comments about Marvel only (really) getting in touch with him the same month he was announced does make me question whether they actually were looking at him for over a year (rumor came from 2013) or grabbed him because of the buzz from that rumor (which could have been false).

So though he's not a fan-favorite, he could potentially be one of the safer choices from whatever list they had. O'Brien and Lerman could be the same thing.

Correct me please, but the rumor of O'Brien and Logan casting came from the leaked sony's e-mail right?
