Ya if it's not dylan then really why has dylan changed so much in interviews last month or so. Vs past ones. Like others have said it follows others who denied things but was true.

Please be Dylan!.
The best thing about it for me is the Back Spider.![]()

I suppose he could just be feeling deflated and naturally not enthusiastic about Spider-Man anymore if he has been rejected, but trying to put on a brave face and saying he never even heard anything about it. Maybe it's better to say that he was never even in contention than to admit that he auditioned but failed.
But surely if someone has failed, they should be more forthright in saying that they didn't get the part. If it was simply that he was not in the correct age range, then it's not a reflection on himself in any way, and therefore nothing to be ashamed about.

If he tried and failed to get the part, I still think he'd have signed an NDA. Additionally, while he may try to keep a brave face about it, there's still Davis' Avengers remark and Tyler's knee pat after an audition remark that would have been in a bit poor taste under that circumstance.
What happened?
Funeral for what?

Dylan's delivery on quips towards villains would bring back humor to Spider-Man. I literally haven't laughed in any of the 5 Spider-Man movies. A smirk at best.
