The Night Of | HBO Miniseries

I was actually thinking about that the other day, like maybe Stone is the killer and they'll find pieces of dead skin from his feet at the crime scene, lol.

This serie continues excellent. Since The Wire / Sopranos / Breaking Bad (better trilogy of series in my opinion) that i don't see anything like this quality.

Turturro like a lawyer is good, his behavior in the court was unexpected but, i understand. I think that he will grow in the case and play the roe of the detective. The cat can be a clue. Besides, what should happen is that girls assistent is help him.

In the other side, Naz will suffer in the prison, independent if he accept or not the agreement with Freddy (and M.Williams is excellent). The boxer will want Naz in his side but, if he accept, can be dangerous because he uses the people how he think is better for him.
But i like how was presented the argument to Naz agree: Freedy would like someone intelligent in his side to talk about generalities.

Other thing that i saw and went to research (and was confirmed): Andrea was cut 22 times, her age. If this is a coincidence: I think not.

I swear, if you cut out all these scenes with Turturro's disgusting feet, each episode of this show would be 20 minutes long.

Anyway, Omar is awesome on this show. Which is no surprise, since he's awesome in everything. But he's SO good. I hope his people get some revenge for Nas on that SOB who burned him.
Yeah, but what's it gonna cost Nas?

I have a feeling that both 'Sticky Fingaz' and the guy that burnt Nas, are actually really working for 'Omar'. Sort of steering him towards accepting the offer if you will....

Wow, what an episode. Though I feel like Nas's turn was a bit fast and Stone's an idiot.

Yeah, Stone was a dumbass chasing after that guy.

I liked all the prison stuff with Nas, though yeah, his turn does seem kind of abrupt.

Also, I've been to that bar where Stone talked with the drug dealer guy. Kinda cool.

Really sad to see Nas turned into a more hardened guy. It was a bit abrupt though but I think that's the point. He has it in him. It's clear from the first episode when he almost got into the face of Bodie from The Wire (too lazy to look up actor's name) for that racial stuff.

As soon as Stone found that guy I knew he would do the dumb thing of confronting him and he guy would run off.

It was nice seeing Box do the tedious case work an actual detective would do. Methodically going through records, surveillance tape, etc to piece together a narrative. You rarely see TV detectives actually do the kind of daily grind case work.

That medical examiner Weiss met seemed kind of shady. He seemed happy to go along with whatever Weiss wanted which seems unethical.

Another random Fisher Stevens cameo appearances as the pharmacist.

There are these weird little moments in the show like Trevor taking milk and cookies or crime scene photographer mentioning squirrel blood.

Interesting that the crime scene photographer photographer took a picture from the bottom of the stairs, pointing towards the kitchen. It made it clear that anyone going up the stairs would not have seen Nas passed out at the kitchen table.

This show just keeps getting better and better.

Just when you think he can't get any dumber he goes and tattoos sin on his knuckles

Yeah Im losing sympathy for the dude. He was really stupid but earnest in the beginning but now he's full dumbass.

I guess I see what the show is doing. I think theyre trying to make a statement or at least show how prisons do more bad than good, but still.

I like how they keep peeling layers back about Naz.

And how much do you guys wanna bet this eczema remedy backfires? I'm still so confused why have it in the show.

for a minute there I thought Stone was going to get him some of his partner :sly: yeah the tats were confusing and the funeral guy and now the step father seems to obvious

I'm really interested to see how this ends. Hoping it's not the father who killed the girl...

I'm thinking the creepy undertaker......

Two eps left. I hope this is building towards something great. They have a lot to cover in 120 mins.

So we've now got 4 major suspects:

1. Nasir, who might just be an idiot but all the stuff he's doing in prison makes him look guilty.

2. Scowling silent dude with the loudmouth friend

3. Creepy, woman-hating undertaker

4. Stepdad sleazeball.

It could easily be any of them. But I feel like if they want to have the end of this show be mind-blowing, it should be someone else we haven't even thought of. Who that could be though, I have no idea.

I don't trust that damn cat... it also helped cure Turturros feet... yea... something off about that cat...

I thinking it was Naz druged out his mind cause why would the "killer" not kill him as well?

Can't figure out who I most medium suspect right now.

The killer needed him for his fall guy, a plan that has so far worked out nicely.

I think whoever it is, it's part of a more important point of what larger theme the show is going with. A system that produces stuff like this where it's a cyclical thing. Either way, I think this ending is gonna be more sad than anything, despite any victory.

It could be where the stepdad hired the scowling guy to kill her but something may have went wrong and Nassir did something.
