Plot Summary: Tim Burton's holiday classic, "The Nightmare Before Christmas," makes a return to the big screen this holiday season in stunning Disney Digital 3D™. The dazzling new make-over of the musical-fantasy was led by the film's original filmmaking team of Academy Award® nominated writer/producer Tim Burton ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride") and director Henry Selick ("James and the Giant Peach") as well as the talented technical wizards at Industrial Light + Magic. Audiences will get closer than ever to Halloweentown's beloved Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon), as he attempts to take over the Christmas holiday. Against the advice of Sally (voiced by Catherine O'Hara), a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters – Lock, Shock, and Barrel – to help him kidnap Santa Claus. Jack eventually realizes his mistake but has to contend with the evil Oogie Boogie before he can make things right and restore the Christmas holiday. Fueled by an unforgettable Grammy® nominated soundtrack featuring ten ghoulishly delightful songs by Oscar® nominee Danny Elfman ("Corpse Bride," "Big Fish") who also provided the singing voice for Jack, "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D" combines the Oscar® nominated artistry of stop-motion animation with brand new state-of-the-art digital technology to create a unique and entertaining movie-going experience that is sure to become a modern holiday tradition.

hopefully it gets a uk release

1st of December apparently, certain cinemas only:(

No the films fine, as it was just ummm 3D

But they are putting out an album full of covers, so each songs been raped by an artist :(

so far ive just heard the marilyn manson one and sallys song.......

the marilyn manson one is meh.... but the sallys song is awesome

The covers didn't butcher the songs at all but then again they didn't make them better either.
I loved Fiona's version of Sally's Song. Fall Out Boy's version of What's This? was okay, not great but tolerable. Marylin Manson's was kind of tame to me compared to his other music, I just didn't care for when he sang 'Halloween' in the chorus but overall it felt like something was missing. She Want's Revenge rendition of Kidnap the Santy Claws wasn't that good to me. It was way too techno and the beat distracted away from the song.

Did no one read that story online about some theatres banning that poster due to the placement of Sally's arm in Jack's lap? :p

this movie is perfect, so hope they dont screw it up.
They can't really screw it up, all they're doing are re-releasing it in 3-D. It's not like they're replacing the movie music with the cover band music.

But this weekend.

TEDDY

I have been offered the opportunity to go watch the premier of this in London, then attend a Q&A after w/ Tim Burton but I can't be assed because I don really like the film, its a bit lame.
If it was Batman89 that would be a different matter, I would definably be going.
