Looks like we have a Halloween tradition on our hands (of which there are too few). They are re-releasing Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' this year, but this time in 3-D. Love this flick, remember when it first came out.
Any Burton fans going to check this out? Preferably wearing their full Jack Skellting regalia?

:bomb: :bomb: :bomb:

Ummmmmmm didnt they relase this last year in 3d.

SO its a RE RE RElease?

You're right, last year was the first year, correct. I missed it though and need to get the 3-D experience 'cause they only run it for the few weeks around Halloween.

Perhaps this will catch on & they'll start running 'A Christmas Story" in 3-D each December as well? :woot:

I read about it a few months ago. They're going to release it in IMAX every Halloween, as a tradition. Same film as before, no real changes. 3D like last year.

Well I saw it in 3D last year, so I'll skip it this time around.

They didn't have it my area last year so hopefully they do this year.

I'll go again and this time I won't booze it up and pass......I mean fall asleep.

shouldn't it be re re released at christmas time...?

LOL!! Christmas has so many movies already! I like Halloween getting one as a re-release in theaters, hopefully on an annual basis. Halloween needs as many traditions as it can get. The 3-D experience is the way to go too. I'd like this trend to catch on. Long live Skellington.

i saw this last year it was pretty cool

i like the marilyn manson cover song of this is halloween

it's also coming to DVD this month, I believe :o

I remeber when i first wanted to see that movie when i was young.

Not this version...

It's impossible to put IMAX 3D films on DVD. It's the reason why Superman Returns in 3D and movies such never make it on DVD, it just can't happen.

It's only going to be out for 3 weeks, so I need to really bust a move.

I could have sworn that in the new issue of the TRU magazine thing we have, they had a new dvd out and it clearly said "Nightmare Before Christmas 3D"

Hmm, maybe they're going to release it on standard 3D.

I haven't been able to find any theaters in the Atlanta area that are showing this, which is very surprising considering it's a large city and all. :cmad:

Okay, this is weird. Only two theaters in my area are doing a midnight showing thursday but one won't be showing it anymore after that one night.
