Im so proud that serious fiction is getting respect, with V for Vendetta as well. Its a good time for these type of fiction films.

ya its really cool that many are respecting different mediums of story telling. It is a shame though it took a while for people to notice it.

Awesome to see some of the bigger sites weigh in with their views on the film, and for the verdict to still be incredibly positive.

To be honest, I dont think we'll get any critics bashing it. Maybe a few that dont like it but not bashing it

Thats a good thing, because most movies in this genre usually have its normal bashers.

I'm just looking forward to more of the "serious reviewers" weighing in, hopefully with similarly positive reviews. Just to silence Devin Faraci's claims that the only reason reviews so far are all so positive is because it's all comic-geek fanboys writing the reviews, and that the LA junket circuit and their opinions don't really count.

I was reading the initial reviews for Spiderman 3 last night (over on the SHH forums) and they were so positive! I knew I remembered that correctly, but they were also all fan-written.

No mention of the Jazz Club, the crying, just how perfect it is. :S

However, those were from April 18th (movie came out May 4th) but by about April 30th the bad reviews were pouring in (I left for vacation with high hopes, came home on the 30th to bad reviews).

Another good review from Jett. Really interested on his comments about Gordon. Each review gets me more and more hyped.

Oh, wait, I forgot we're not supposed to say anything good about Jett or BOF.

Jett is a piece of crap. I hope he gets face cancer.

Yeah I also thought she was ok in BB, and also she is more attractive than Maggie. But I really hate how she speaks out of her side of her mouth' that killed it for me in BB.

On a side note: Who the hell is Justin Chang? Todd McCarthy is listed as giving both Spiderman 2 and Iron Man "100" scores on the metacritic meter. Why didn't he review this?

Ive read way better reviews from Jett than this one.

Sometimes you can be so excited about your experience, it's difficult to write your feelings. That's happened to me sometimes. I like Jett (he's been helpfull in the lead up to the movie), but I have to admit...he needs to proofread that review. I had to re-read some of the lines a couple of times.
