plus since when is a "machiine" limited to turbines and computers. maybe hes an organic machine. if he was designed based on kryptonian organism, its reasonable to believe he would devlop the same abilities a kryptonian would.

Interesting theory. I guess it's possible...

and where does it say it only fell in SV. Dont be an ass everyone knows it didn't just fall in SV. SV just got the most of it for the TV show

"Everyone" doesnt know anything. You're making the claim that it did, foolio, why should I have to prove that it didnt when it's never been mentioned anywhere on the show?

They've never mentioned that the Easter Bunny raped the Tooth Fairy on the show either, should I have to prove that didnt go down as well?

That's like arresting someone and then making them prove they're innocent, instead of you proving their guilty.

It's your claim, back it up, boy.

All I am doing is asking you to back up yours and tell me where it is stated that all the Kryptonite feel in Smallville when we have already seen it in China.

The Kryptonite in China was palced there by someone, quite possibly imo Brainiac.

Well Clark did say in one particular episode, that he wanted to get away from Smallville and all the Kryptonite and in the episode Commencement we saw the satellite imagery that very clearly showed the meteors falling on Smallville ONLY. And as explained to you before the kryptonite in China was placed there.

Show the picture of that then because SV got the most of the shower but not all of it. Also in one show yes he would say that he's never been outside of SV so of course he would think its only there. And once again how would some one years before Krypton even blew up get their hands on Kryptonite then? I mean to gt Kryptonite you have to get it after the planet blew because thats wht it is the planet not some every day rock.

But then wouldn't he gain the same weakness?

The problem here isn't how he can do it but why didn't they explain it?

As for the Ktyptonite only falling on Smallville, it true it only fell there in the last ep of Season 2 Lionel says that the only substance on earth similar to key are the meteor rocks found in Smallville.

It's Brainiac...

And?

See that means **** to me ause before Smallville all I know of Brainiac was that he was a super computer on Krypton, and I got that from the pilot of the 90's animated series.

Well then I stand corrected and I was wrong and for that I am sorry.

there was a farmer who had a dog, and Bingo was his name o..... UH-I-N-G-O

Smallville's claim to fame, which is also promoted on their town sign, is that they are the meteor capital of the world.

My only problem with "Smallville" is the writting done for Clark Kent's character, He's written poorly, and it's very hard for me as a Diehard harcore Superman fanboy to accept this same Kid would every become SUPERMAN .

Not to play Devil's Advocate or anything, 'cause I think the show does make it clear that Smallville (the town) is the "meteor capital of the world," but, Lionel was pointing out that the KEY was unique, not meteor rocks. Here's the quote:

"The composition [of the key] was unique. There's nothing like it on Earth, with one exception: the meteor rocks found here in Smallville."

He doesn't really say specifically that the meteors are ONLY found in Smallville, just that the composition of the key matches that of the meteors found in Smallville. It's a statement of inclusion, not exclusion, so it's merely consistent with what they already know. It doesn't prove something they don't know - like exclude the existence of Kryptonite in other places such as China, South America or even Addis Ababa LOL. So the statement is somewhat of a grey area, if you *really* wanted to debate it. ;)

There are meteor rocks(not Kryptonite) all over Earth, that is why he made it clear that was nothing like it on Earth except in Smallville, seems conclusive to me

Another problem I have is Lois as campaign manager of Johnathon and now working for Martha. I could just about stomach Chloe bringing down Lionel Luthor but this is a bit out there.

I guess my point about inclusion verses exclusion is that it's very hard - some would say virtually impossible - to *prove* a negative. Lionel says the key matches the composition of the meteors found in Smallville. He had no way of knowing at that time that Smallville meteor rock was actually present in other areas, whether it was placed there or fell there.

Lex said to Lionel in Crusade: "A fairytale you believed in enough to finance six expeditions over the last two years," and Edgar told Clark (in Lionel's body) in Transference, "Oh, he's scouring the globe. ... These ancient symbols, they've shown up in Egypt, Central America, even a sacred Indian cave right here in Kansas." And finally in Arrival: "Their home is their only poison." ;)

Point is, Lionel would eventually find out that Smallville meteor rock, aka Kryptonite, would be found outside of Smallville.

Speaking of the key, I wish Smallville will go back to that as the basis of Kryptonian technoglogy (
and maybe the \S/ pendant in "Zod" will?
). As cool as the FOS was last season, the fact that all the K-tech was made from crystals is a little too reminiscent of the movies and actually goes against K-tech already established in previous seasons.
