The Office Season 7 - Part II

Regarding the Scranton Strangler...
I think I read somewhere that Jim Carrey would be the one playing him and he wouldn't be someone interviewing for the job. Don't know if it is true or total ********

Erin could definitely be Phyllis' daughter. If Michael's Wikipedia is correct, he was born in 1965. Since Phyllis is the same age and had a baby in high school, that would mean she had a child between 16 and 19. That child would be between 30 and 27.

It would be waaaay to soap opera-ish if Erin turned out to be Phyllis' daughter.

Great sendoff for Michael . Dwight reading the letter and the stuff with Jim at the end , those were really good. Also one of my favorite moments was Michaels gift to Oscar being a last minute ruse , lol.

I smell another Dwight/Jim alliance. Those rare occasions are always good for a laugh.

Good catch! That would be awesome. Also, I think that the Scranton Strangler is still out there (Toby suggested last week that they convicted the wrong man) and I'm pretty sure its Mose.

Or Creed. :ninja:

Gotta be Vickers. He doesnt like to preform in public, is extremly prone to sudden outbursts, has a incredibly dark sense of humor, and a death wish. Dude's ****ed. Oh and he leaves at one point.....hmm....

But I did enjoy this episode. Free of over the top drama. Just good emotional moments.

Great episode.

And I didn't mind the Pam storyline. She assumed that Michael would be leaving the next day, so she went to watch a movie and buy a shredder and say goodbye to him tomorrow. She only got to the airport to say goodbye after Jim told her he was leaving that day. I figured she'd be the last one to say good bye to him anyways.

The two people most likely to say goodbye to Michael were Jim and Pam. And it was nice to see things end well with Dwight. He rarely shows any emotion, but he did on this night.

Great sendoff for Michael. I think we're all gonna miss him. I got teary eyed when Dwight was reading the letter but I was weeping at Jim and Michael saying goodbye and the whole airport scene. I love that Michael's last line was "That's what she said." :waa:

My only criticism was that I felt like the DeAngelo/Andy storyline was a huge distraction. That could have been saved for the next episode.

Loved the epsiode, perfect sendoff for michael, the latter half of this season has been surprisingly great. I may be in the minority here but the stuff with Will Ferrel and his sweets issue had me dying. Loved all of Michaels goodbyes, I think Dwights, Pams, and Jims were obviously the best. Great acting by everyone in this episode. Thank you Steve, hope you come back for a visit soon

The cake thing made me laugh hard though.

"What am I doing! I HAD CAKE FOR LUNCH!"

I really hope this season ends with us knowing who the new boss will be.

During work

If it weren't for her gams, I'd hate her.

She worked with Michael. I don't think anyone at that office takes their job seriously enough to care that she saw a movie instead of staying at work.

...You do realize that this is the same show that had everyone leave the office and go to a karate dojo to witness a sparring match, right?

I still think there will be one more Michael Scott appearance: the series finale, which will likely be in the next couple of years (I don't see them running the show for too long without Carell). It'll probably be just a voice-only cameo on the phone talking to Jim or Pam.

BTW, did anyone else feel like more should have been said when Michael said goodbye to Toby?

^ I spent 10 minutes looking for that ****ing Me Gusta face meme....trying to figure out the name.

Damn you. :o

With Michael gone, we say goodbye to Jan and all Michael related stuff.

That was an important business trip :o

Yeah I figured he either wouldn't say bye at all or he'd give him a really long rant about why he hates him.
