The only thing I didn't like about this trailer was the unnecessary slow motion skateboard flip. Otherwise, the special fx look great so far and it's great to see Spidey swinging around again!

So I saw the Avengers in IMAX today afternoon and didn't see the 3rd Spidey trailer o_O. They showed the second one in 2D. Was dissapointed by that.

Is it not in theaters?

No it's in theaters, I had it in mine last night. I didn't have TDKR one though.

My cousin's theater showed the SECOND Spider-Man trailer according to him. Haha. I haven't seen the Avengers yet, (That's Sunday's errand) so I'm hoping they play BOTH TDKR and TAS. And the right versions of those, too, please.

Agreed. I'm likely not to see it until sunday too though I might squeeze it in tomorrow.

Is the Avengers worth watching in 3D

not really

also what trailers you have are dependent on what format you see the movie in...see it in 3D and you'll get Spider-man but not TDKR...see it in 2D and you'll get TDKR but not Spidey

Good thing I plan on seeing The Avengers twice.

Thanks for the info.

Most likely I'll be watching it in 2D but theres a very high chance I'll watch Spidey in both dimensions :woot:

This new trailer just didn't grab me for some reason. The movie looks like it's going to be good, but the trailer just lacked something.

I saw it in 2d and got Spidey, not TDKR.

Saw it in 2d and got TDKR and no Spidey.

Doesn't matter; saw Avengers

raimi did a verry good job @ spiderman , his vision was great and every one loved the 2 movies , hey hell i even liked the third one , just because im a spidey fan ,

webb has the prove himself against raimi and others , that he can also make a good spiderman movie in his vision of the marvel icon

not easy , but what i see till now he's doing great

This one begs to differ.

They weren't terrible movies. They weren't even bad. But I found them lacking. But then Raimi had the challenge of making Spider-man work in live action. That's not an easy task, especially in those days. So, I'll give him credit for pulling it off.

But the movies were rather unambitious. Very little planning for sequels. It lacked vision. At least, ambitious vision. There were also many things I simply didn't like, such as the hokey dialogue, the characterizations (though that got much worse in the sequels), and the "villains".

If you're wondering what I mean by ambitious, think trying to turn Spider-man's entire world into live action. Cumulating with a movie with the Sinister Six (perhaps for the third movie), with most of the characters having already been established in the first two.

i thought the second was the best , even the box office numbers prove that :woot:

and maybe you right about the movies , but when they came out @ the theaters we where glad we got a spiderman movie

I got back from the Avengers a little bit ago. I dropped a few extra bucks to see it in 3D (mainly hoping to see the Spidey trailer in 3D). BTW, the theater I went to is just decked out in Spider-Man stuff. Its pretty sweet, they have like a 20ft. wall hanging of the untold story poster, a life size imax poster in 3D, the theatrical poster and a big screen showing the second trailer. So I was pretty confident I was going to see it.

Ended up seeing previews for Dark Knight Rises, Brave, Frankenweenie and of course, Spider-Man.

Try to see the trailer in 3D if you can guys ... its pretty amazing. I thought the trailer was pretty in 2D, but when Spidey is literally doing a backflip out of the screen, it takes it to another level and that wasn't even in imax 3D. That got me so pumped. Is it July 3rd yet??

Transformers 2 says "hi".

I hope you don't like or hate a movie in relation to their box office numbers. Because that's incredibly wrong.

no, but for me , was the second the best
, nothing 2 do with the numbers , in fact most of the times is a sequel verry bad

In the ultimate series, his father was working on an adhesives formula. From that formula, Peter creates his artificial webs.

I completely agree with everything you said there! I'm glad we're getting this one instead of another Raimi Spider-Man this time!

Nah, I'll say 2 was bad, and 3 was horrible.

I think Spider-Man is good and is a bit underrated. Definitely the best in the series if you ask me. IMO, Spider-Man 2 is watchable, has its good moments, but is overall an annoying film, and Spider-Man 3 is good in the first half, horrible in the second.
