He got out, then allowed himself to be reclaimed after he had all the other prisoners but one killed to preserve their integrity. The one he allowed out is currently his new prison warden. I don't think it'll be too difficult. It was actually a really good story.

They made a pretty good osborn mini after seige. Basically he was put into this supervillain gitmo for guys they didn't want to ever be heard from again. Osborn made them riot and escaped with this one chick. He killed the rest of them because in his opinion it was better to die then have no dignity. Then he called the police and allowed himself to be recaptured after explaining what happened. Which caused major problems for those in congress that put him there (american citizen denied all rights on american soil and all). He went to a different supervillain jail but the chick he helped escape (an evil biologist) he got a job as the new prison doctor (I was wrong about the warden thing) and he basically had it set up where he could escape from this new jail whenever he wanted.

I'm skeptical about DD on New Avengers. I'll probably just stick with getting my DD fill from Mark Waid, an established HOF writer. The new title has hit the ground running and heavily outsold New Avengers in it's debut. Even the normal drop off from #1 to #2 will keep it either ahead of NA or right along side it. It will forever be a higher quality book compared to NA until they get the name Bendis off the cover.

And the Osborn mini was really good. It followed up SIEGE nicely.

If we killed everybody that Bendis tarnished at one point or another, the only person left in the Marvel U would be Uncle Ben's corpse.

- Norman Osborn's HAMMER takes over the Hand, Hydra and Aim. They all unite under his rule.
- Madame Hydra & Gorgon obviously don't trust Norman that much
- Norman can go completely psycho now since noone under his rule is worried about the Goblin persona like the American public
- Enoug muscle to face the rosters of both New Avengers and Avengers
- New Avengers vs. Dark Avengers confirmed
- Avengers face HAMMER's technological weaponry
- Besides Daredevil there will be 2 new classic Avengers joining New Avengers.
- Bryan Hitch is penciling for the upcoming Ultron story and apparently has already finished some issues, the idea is to get it out in a monthly format and Bendis has finished scripts already as well.

This sounds pretty interesting, though it does bug me that this means I can't really drop Avengers since I'll be picking up up again once the crossover starts. Oh well. I love New Avengers though.

I'm curious who will be joining the New Avengers. I'm thinking one could officially be Steve, since he's Captain America again, and Wanda (post Children's Crusade). The team needs another female. Then again, if it IS Wanda then Quicksilver might follow. I'd like to see Quicksilver on the team, I think he'd have be a good negative dynamic on the team.

I'm glad characters from Secret Warriors will be coming into the book, such as Daisy, Gorgon, and Madam Hydra. That was a good series and I'm glad Bendis will keep it going.

When it was a set 5 or 6 characters it was cool but having an alternative for all the Avengers will just get old very quickly I think. Bendis' entire "dark" avengers were just a watered down version of Ellis' Thunderbolts. So eh.

I don't understand why it has to be the Dark Avengers. Is there something wrong with The Masters of Evil? Bendis is afraid to write them. Or doesn't know how to.....I think I just answered my own question.

True. We had a good balance going between cosmic vs street level but then GoTG had to go and get cancelled

I gotta give Bendis an ounce of props for knowing his limitations. He's better at writing street-level characters so he filled the Avengers with just such characters(He did nerf Strange, which sucked HARD).
