An absolute favorite classic film of mine. A few clips from THE COURT JESTER, starring Danny Kaye as a hapless freedom fighter who goes undercover as the new Jester for an unjust king. It is perhaps Kaye's finest and most satisfying film. It was said that NO film ever truly captured the full talent of Kaye, but Court Jester comes the closest.

In this clip a hypnotized Kaye, triggered by the snap of a finger, faces Basil Rathbone in a sword fight. Once he hears a finger snapped Kaye switches back and forth between mastery of the sword and his real personality, and untrained scaredy cat. [YT]AfyZ1bWv7Ls[/YT]

The opening musical number, where Kaye impersonates the Robin Hood type character of the film, The Black Fox. [YT]796bHaAtlkE[/YT]

Kaye, now disguised as a jester meets the king and his inner circle and must be quick on his feet to fit the part he's playing. [YT]cysxO5Z-0L8[/YT]

Another of the film's wonderful musical numbers, as Kaye entertains the king's court with song and dance. [YT]G9GWMbrEu_g[/YT]

Two tributes to Hugh Jackman as everyone's favorite mutant slashing machine, Wolverine.

Cool. More from the same poster on YouTube that did MAN FROM SMALLVILLE? I posted that a page. Back or so. Still, awesome to see others giving such work exposure in a forum like this where people like us can appreciate the work that goes into these tributes. Nice find Lench.

I found a song that perfectly encapsulates my job and my attitude towards it.

Two of the greats who are also great buddies... Green Lantern and Flash!

An epic tribute to the Flash... Like almost ALL of them, using tons of animated appearances by The Fastest Man alive and featuring the song No Way Back by FOO FIGHTERS. [YT]9G2kNyd3Zew[/YT]

A tribute with the animated GL adventures EMERALD KNIGHTS and FIRST FLIGHT along with the song DEATH OF ME by RED. [YT]Wfd3meA89_U[/YT]

There seemed to be some hope for live action HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE film earlier in the day, so to celebrate here are is a fan edit that sort of tries to make the 2002 series have an intro like the classic show, followed by the actual intro.

This is so fun to me. The theme for THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO and STAR WARS. I give you... THE GREATEST AMERICAN JEDI. [YT]3_e4n9RI1Zo[/YT]

SHHype poster soylentbrak is the creator of these two phenomenal SUICIDE SQUAD fan trailers, perhaps the best two on YouTube. Both are just top shelf across the board.

Roll Out by Miracle of Sound

From the same man that brought you Roll Out comes a new song with the theme being Friends starring the Guardians of the Galaxy! It follows the same type of soundtrack from the movie.

Nice find there KevG. Well done little piece of work. Well edited and with clear visuals, which, actually when it comes to YT tributes and the like, is not always easy to find.

Welp... We recently got us a picture of Jason Momoa as Aquaman with a tagline/hashtag that alludes to the building up towards Justice League so to that end, here are some good to great Justice League tributes and fan projects.

A nice fan trailer that knows that short and snappy works best. A great job, given the limited time and footage:[YT]Jz7wnKcMZ_M[/YT]

A tribute to the great JLU with Bonnie Tyler's 80's-riffic song HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO:[YT]f2OlhwkH3r4[/YT]

Another fan tribute to JL with Saliva's LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:[YT]Hki2JaLwOrs[/YT]

And another well done fan trailer about the UNITING of DC's best and greatest on one team. [YT]HHYUNid0dNM[/YT]

Awesome tribute to 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?'

When I was a wee lad I was huge into STAR TREK and STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. Sharply written tales of science fiction, adventure, camaraderie with characters that you either admired or wanted to be all wrapped up in the most entertaining package imaginable... And it fired the imagination of quite a few people across generations. My mother as a young woman lived above a furniture store that also sold color tv sets. When Trek was originally being broadcast in the 1960's the owner of the store would allow her to come down and watch the show in color, so passionate was she for the series. This was passed down to me as we had the entire series on VHS during the late 80's in my house. This past few weeks I finally got around to seeing the TOS remastered release on Amazon Prime and am amazed at how well I feel it holds up, especially the performances by Shatner, Kelly and Nimoy. So inspired, here are three tributes to Star Trek. Let them rekindle your own desire to go where no man has gone before...

With the reveal picture of Jason Momoa as Aquaman now would be a perfect time to educate those unfamiliar with the character of his history. So, without further ado...

With the so recent passing of of Leonard Nimoy, I think this is a good time to remind some of those out there not familiar with his work as Mr. Spock as to why it was such a loss that he has passed. Not only was his performance one for the ages as Spock, dramatically, but also he injected a dry and wry humor. So, without further ado...

Spock's favorite word:[YT]cFods1KSWsQ[/YT]

Spock, logical as always, takes human metaphors and idioms at face value:[YT]Xk6Y79vduEE[/YT]

Spock is often thought of in conjunction with Capt. Kirk, but let's remember that it was a trio and give his entertaining relationship with Dr. McKoy it's due:[YT]GrVqmYzGTuM[/YT]

This last one is just a funny commercial featuring Kirk and Scotty. Enjoy:[YT]oIfNv9qLvy4[/YT]
