That's cause they feel they have to fit in with their peers, just like any race feels. There is also the idea of being "black" enough as a somewhat subculture in itself. I wish people could just embrace what they like and not make it a racial thing. Even if a black guy liked country music songs, I doubt they'd be open about that lolSadly this is how many blacks think, young ones at least. And you're right about hip hop it's one of the reasons why I stopped listening to it; hell there are others that use to like the music who have stopped listening to it too.
