The Official Blake Lively & Carol Ferris Thread - Part 1

Carol Ferris is in Green Lantern.

Let's cast her. :woot:

Well now we have an actual clip of Blake Lively's performance, and as I guessed before, her line in the original trailer was spliced together from several different lines, which is why it sounded so unnatural. The people saying they've heard better delivery from "porn actresses" were too quick to judge the woman, as usual.

Depends what you want from Carol Ferris apart from great hair, doesn't it?

I'm not worried about her performance any more, she'll do fine.

I want a sequel just to see Blake in that star Sapphire suit.

Blake was on Regis and Kelly this week promoting the movie. She kind of clumsily tries to explain GL to Regis, who seems a bit lost. The GL talk starts around 6:00-

The recently released clip really did calm any fears I had regarding her performance. She seems just fine in the role, nothing groundbreaking but a better looking performance than Katie Holmes in Batman Begins and thats all I wanted. Now about the rest of the film...

Out of all the recent DC films, Blake was probably the most enjoyable romantic lead. Better than Katie, better than Kate. At one point in the film I was thinking the ring shoudlve chose Carol instead of Hal.

Lively was very strong in this movie! She gave a very good performance and I liked her in it.

I really dig how she looks with dark hair.

Blake looked amazing in GL. She looks better as a brunette, imo.

I even liked how Bosworth looked in Superman Returns. And Ackerman in Watchmen....oh boy.

Suffice to say, I'm looking forward to Adams in MOS.

I didn't like Bosworth, but Ackerman was great.

Adams? Eh...

Michelle Pfieffer in Married To The Mob.

 x 10

I generally liked Lively's performance. She had clunky moments here and there and she was miscast because she's too young but she mostly pulled it off.
